What weapon modifiers?

So I am flying a Advanced Heavy Cruiser as an Engineer and and I can get through my space missions they are really taking a long time to get through. So I am wondering if may be I am not using the right modifiers. So should I be looking for weapons with ACC, DMG,CRTH, etc? Thanks in advance.

CrtD ~ Dmg > CrtH > Acc. At high end scenarios, CrtD tends to be a bit better than Dmg while at lower end, Dmg tends to edge out, but for most intents and purposes, you can count any combination of those 2 modifiers to be more or less equally best choices.

However, if you say that it takes you too much time to get through space missions, I seriously doubt it's only the problem of your weapon modifiers.

How does your build look like? What gear, Bridge Officer powers, traits, skills do you use?

This evening when I get home I will see if I can get this info for you and maybe you can point me in the right direction. I would appreciate it.

Something I found over on r/sto builds awhiles back, OP. It is a little blunt but it is also quite clear. Been using this myself for a long time now.

"[Pen] is the best modifier in the game. Replacing any given modifier with [Pen] will improve your damage.
[CrtD] and [Dmg] are second best; various combinations of them will have small differences in DPS, 2% or less
[CrtH] and [Acc] are trash. Replacing any of them with any of the above will improve the weapon.
Romulan Tactical officers should use as much [Dmg] as possible. [Dmg]x4 is ideal if there is no [Pen].
Romulan non-Tactical officers should use as much [CrtD] as possible. [CrtD]x4 is ideal if there is no [Pen].
Non-Romulan Tactical officers should use [Dmg] with supplementary [CrtD]. [Dmg]x3 [CrtD] is ideal if there is no [Pen].
Non-Romulan non-Tactical officers should use [CrtD] with supplementary [Dmg]. [CrtD]x3 [Dmg] is ideal if there is no [Pen].
Friends don't let friends use [Acc] or [CrtH]."

[Pen] is a Mod which is available on Crafted weapons. If you're going to make a set of Crafted weapons which all have the [Pen] Mod, be patient and keep working it. Because the [Pen] Mod showed up for me about every ninth or tenth weapon I crafted. And I was going for a complete set of weapons for his cruiser which all had the [Pen] Mod. Did this on my KDF char who is a Tac. While it took more time and Dilithium than I wanted, the end results ( [Dmg]x3 [Pen] ) were worth the effort.
