Because the last few promotional ships seemed a bit lacking to me I wanted to share something that would add some OOOOMPH to the next ones in the pipeline. (Obviously not the Pikeprise because I assume that already is way into production.)
- Console one: When equipped removes the restriction on omni-directional and wide arc weapons. Enabling to outfit your whole ship with them if you choose to.
- Console two: When equipped reduces the number of items needed for set bonuses by one (to a minimum of two). (totally not stolen from RoRG!)
Limit those to promotional ships and watch us go nuts when going for these game changer consoles.
Console universal - Galactic Rage: activating this console will instantly destroy your target, friend or foe. Costs 8'000 dilithium per activation. 120s recharge time.
I wish I had a console that would scan the enemy ship and tell me which weapons they're using and which weapons I should use to fight them.
You do...it's called the 'Experience' console. It's invisible and unlike most ship components, gets better with age.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
Enemies not immediately killed will be stunned for 10 seconds and be subject to triple flanking damage from all directions.
"Let's play 'Get Help'."
"I hate this game..."
Space Barbie Extraordinaire. Got a question about Space Barbie? Just ask.
Things I want in STO:
1) More character customization options such as more clothing options, letting the toon complexion affect the entire body, not just the head. Also a true RGB color picker applied to all costume and appearance options, which would allow for true appearance customization and homogenous colors instead of "this same exact color looks vastly different on two different pieces."
2) Bridge customization, not bridge packs. Let us pick a general layout and adjust the color palette, console appearance, and chair types, as well as more ready room layout options.
3) Customizable ground weapons, i.e. The aesthetic look of phaser dual pistols but they shoot antiproton bolts. For obvious reasons this would only apply to standard ground weapons.
4) For the love of Q please revamp Plasma Ground Weapons. They look like demented Supersoakers right now.
5) True Vanity Impulse and Deflector effects similar to Vanity Shields.
6) A greater payout for hitting T6 Reputations. Currently it takes more time and resources to get from T5 to T6 than it does to get from nothing to T5. Make that grind really pay out at the end.
7) Mirrorverse Refugee event similar to AoY/Delta/Gamma, complete with new Mirrorverse recruits for all factions.
8) Independent Faction, because yo ho yo ho a pirate's life for me!

A console that removes 20% of the oxygen in the developers rooms every time a bug appears that is older than 1 month.
so you essentially want that there's no bug fixes what so ever, since sometimes it might really take more then 1 month to track down what is exactly wrong and there's no such thing as a 100% bug free MMO and developers have limited resources so some minor bugs will have to be put on secondary status until there's time and resources to fix them.
Morphogenic kit module that automatically teleports boffs to you instead of having to fenagle them through overly narrow passageways, doorways, uneven terrain, pretty much anything on a ground map tbh.
As a morphogenic it can also be equipped on ships as a console where the abilities transfer over to making hangar pets stay within range of the parent vessel rather than 40km behind while they trigger red alert from 20km ahead of you.
Might not be stupidly powerful, but might annoy the hell out of some people. Thinking make a hanger/separation pet tied set of consoles which are tied to a given console type (science, tactical, and engineering) an only can slot one of each type on the ship, while this console would transfer a portion of the bonuses of the non-unique consoles you have slotted in that type slot to your hanger and/or separation pets. Giving up a full three slots to give your pets a portion of the buffs you gain from consoles weakening your main ship for that buff, but players having to fight your pets might find them way annoying an deadlier.
Though just making a console called Converted Borg assimilation nanites would be fun, like that when used it infects the target ship an turns it into a ally for a set duration/ Add ion some consoles that give you other things like Borg offensive an defensive adaption protocols, which gives you a stacking resistance buff (in the case of defensive) or a shield penetration buff (for offensive) that slowly builds as you are hit or hitting enemy targets.
Parallels Console: Causes a fissure in spacetime which forces 285,000 of your character's ships from alternate timelines to appear. Half of them do nothing, half of them attack the enemy, half of them attack each other, and one with Assimilated Borg technology attacks any shuttlecraft launched from your ship. Sure, that's three halves plus one, but spacetime has a big old hole ripped in her at this point.
Riker Omega One Console: For the next fifteen minutes your ship experiences reduced mobility and speed, but any weapon fired at you misses. This console disables all Pilot abilities.
Sisko Kit: This ground device grants immunity to injury from any melee attack while adding a bonus 200% damage to melee attacks made by the wearer.
- Console two: When equipped reduces the number of items needed for set bonuses by one (to a minimum of two). (totally not stolen from RoRG!)
Wait, wut?! You want to give up a console, belonging to a set, in order to slot ANOTHER console which negates the need for the second-set console to be slotted!?!
function: enables two players from opposite factions to team any content so long as both have the console equipped-including faction specific content and quests.
Console: Godmode.
function: 100% resist to all damage, 1000% bonus damage, 10,000% Critical chance,
10,000% Critical chance, eh?! That wouldn't work: after 100% CrtH, your chances of critting will be at max.
Your 'Console: Communication superbuss' is actually not even a half-bad idea, though.

Console - Universal - Begone, Fool!
Upon activation, this console instantly removes any player in any TFO who does something which prevents successful accomplishment of all Optionals in whatever TFO is being played. Private Instances are affected as well as PUGs. Further, this Console prevents the banished player from being anywhere near, or, interacting with in any fashion with, the player activating the Console for 20 hours. This Console does have the ability to remove the player activating it in the event the owning player does something really really dumb.
Examples of doing something dumb are but not limited to:
- Going right instead of left in ISA.
- Using Gravity Well during Kobiyashi Maru scenarios.
- Using Gravity Well on Tzenkethi ships.
- Unnecessary typing in the Chat Window to order other players around.
- Ignoring important information placed in the Chat Window.
- Trolling for the sake of trolling.
This Console has a 20 hour cooldown and IS NOT sunject to any Ability or Trait which reduces cooldowns. This Console's abiltiy does not stack with the ability of other Begone, Fool! Consoles.

A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.
Upon activation it assumes the properties of a random console of any type in the game for one minute, after which it goes inactive for three minutes. Then it assumes another random console's traits for a minute, going inactive again thereafter. This process continues until combat ends.
If the random console does buff a system the ship has, it does so by 100 times the normal, white, console of its type.
