Turrets are still broken, Disco phasers still look like blobs of jelly, and all ships are making the Disco warp sounds. Not one of these bugs has even been put in the known issues...

Turrets on all ships I have that ise them are functioning just fine as far as I can tell. That aside, none of these are major issues, at best they are cosmetic things
DSC phaser update and AoD characters having DSC warp-out effects were both (as far as I understand it) design decisions, not bugs. Kael's passed on feedback about the later and the devs may reconsider. For my two cents, I like DSC warp FX and hope they stay for DSC characters (but I'll accept a change if it proves necessary.)
That said, as with any bug one should never expect it to be fixed immediately. Hope? Yeah, definitely. But sometimes fixes take time and devs may have higher priority items to work on. Sit tight, hopefully certain things will be fixed soon, and if it doesn't make the odd bug report (once you're in necro territory for the original post) to make sure that important issues you care about have a better chance at remaining on the devs radar.
PS. Known issues is not a comprehensive list of things being worked on by QA, just a set of PSA's for select issues.

Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!
Well...I am certain the people who could not resolve their "new officers" mission at Level 55 nor buy those Swarmer carrier pets...etc...etc...is happy.
It is very rarely that animation or graphics fixes make the patch notes...they just show up one day.

Oh, thats not what I meant. Disco players should have those animations and sounds. The problem is, ALL characters and ships are making the sounds. Like, my Orion, my AoY toon, my 2409 toon. Those are playing the first half of the Disco warp, then their set faction sound after that. Sounds horrible lol.
My 2 main pet peeves atm are the Echo Papa drone still makes you only able to walk and the Voth outfit hips 'coat-tails' have too much gravity. Problems that have been around for months/years.
Sometimes I think I play STO just to have something to complain about on the forums.
Well, they are fixing some things, and they haven't fixed other things yet.
I'd say AoD Klingons granting XP again could make a big difference for Starbase One's popularity.

And even before the AoD patch, often you only ge the warp-wind-up sound, and then... nothing. A slow glide at impulse.

Take a look (happens to omni-beams as well). Plenty of other people have reported exactly the same behaviour, on other ships. Bort said that they are already looking into the problem, but given how I reported it 13 days ago, lack of quick fix is starting to get discouraging.

Really? Why would they deliberately change the screen-accurate phaser effect of the show they are promoting, which relies heavily on visuals, to something generic? Because they think it's good design to have beams slowly chase targets around curves?
I cannot even 😜

I have the same issue with Warp Spool Up. Every character, every active ship now has Discovery SFX. Don't mind the effects but in the right place please.
I have 23 chars, besides my DSC char, none of them have warp effects problems, so, again it's not "ALL", just some people, that makes finding the bug and fix it a little pesky. Also, no problem with turrets, but i agree with the DSC phasers, i dont like the way they look now...

Wow, that's some bug. I have not seen this with any of my turrets or omnis. I'll have to check it out when the game comes back and see if any of mine are doing that. I have a couple of Long Range Science (T5-U) vessels using cannons/turrets.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything.
What bothers me the most right now is the state of the exchange. Sorting is broken since the release of Age of Discovery. Categories and sub-categories are all over the place. Buying doffs with a certain set of skills has become a nightmare to do, and faction-exclusive doff searches are now broken as well.
Currently the science version of the competitive reputation engine set doesn't proc with any control abilities, other than tractor beam. Yet it works with all drain abilities. It even states, that is procs when using a control or drain bridge officer ability. I have not tested the other engines as buying one and upgrading it to mk 15, and finding it doesn't work was disappointing. I did send a ticket, but that seems to have found a black hole with no response.
Oh well, guess I should of stuck with the other reputation sets as I usually do.

Remember to send a ticket using the Support page at Arcgames instead of the in-game one because it is bugged unless you are wanting to talk to a GM then that is ok for that. It will not get stuck in a black hole if you do it through the site.

that is the first time I have heard that.. maybe that should be a frigging sticky at the top of every page on the forums, or a permanote on the bug reporting screen in game
