Just buy Zen though Arc and you'll probably get them.
I usually buy through Steam, and I get nothing in the way of email promotions like the one above. This time, because of the charge bonus I bought a little Zen using the 'Charge' link at the top of the page. Right after my purchase.. bam.. I get the email above for the holo officers.
Specials like that only seem to be for people that buy through Arc. I am not going to spend the $50 to get them.. I don't even want them, but I got the offer none the less. I have never used Arc to purchase Zen before, the email said it was a 'first time buyer' promotion. Apparently the years of buying through Steam didn't count.

I received an external email on May 18, 2017 stating that my Bridge Crew was ready. My contributions to the Quadrant had not gone unnoticed and they had dispatched a Holographic Bridge Crew featuring personalities from the Historical Archive.
Then it stated how to claim them in the Promotions Tab in the C-Store.
The email also indicated what was next up. Mirror Leeta would be sent to my Account if I were to spend $150 over the next sixty days.
I have three Mirror Leeta Promotions in my Promotions Tab.

Very interesting that they seem to give everything so randomly. As for the spending of Zen, I'm fairly positive I've spent over the required amount by now, but maybe it was only within a certain time-frame? Either way... I mean, ****, it would be nice if we could at least get them from lockboxes like the DS9 ones. Although I'd prefer something more guaranteed.
For a company, it's always endlessly more profitable to just go 'random', instead of actually compiling user data and drawing conclusions from that. In snail mail, they usually get away with it (as no one knows of the other recipients). In an MMO community, like this one, ppl tend to compare facts, and soon realize something's fishy.
Conclusions? you're talking about an Email promotion sent to certain people at random, not a poll...
Who's talking about a poll?! Just saying it's easier/cheaper for a company to just pick recipients randomly, instead of compiling lists based on actual spending and/or data. And yes, it *is* a but 'fishy', as they pretend to use spending/other criteria (like me allegedly having visisted a Convention, or having spent X amount of Zen to qualify as a special customer), whereas, in fact, it's probably all just random.
I got the email stating that I'd get the TOS bridge crew if I spent at least $50 within 60 days. That was August 10th, and I've spent nearly double that since then.
Still no TOS bridge crew. Typical Cryptic. Right hand has no clue what the left hand (or any other part of the anatomy) is doing.

That actually IS fishy. It's one thing to send you this or that prize, pretending you earned it (for reasons); but quite another to explicitely state you will get the TOS boff pack if you spend X amount of money within Y timeframe. I would deifinitely take that up with support.
Well the letter I got last year that gave me the TOS Bridge Crew Promotion did say that the next thing up was Holo Mirror Leeta if I spent $150 over 60 days. Later that day I got another letter awarding me the Mirror Leeta Promotion.

I just got an email saying if i spent $50 or $150 in 60 days they would sent me TOS Boffs and Holo Leta. Gotta say I dont care for that kinda promotion. Free stuff is great and all but a time table + people are saying they arent actually giving the stuff out after conditions are met..... kinda scummy feeling. Ive spent a boat load on this game, ive played since before Open beta and was a Lifer from before launch, I also have a massive chunk of the cstore ships/items from over the years.
I dont mind spending money on the game, but those two things really stuck in my craw.
Okay, so I know I'm a little late coming into this, but there were holographic bridge officers modeled after the TOS crew!?! Everything I'm reading about it says that they were offered as a convention exclusive, yet I have a friend who received them who did not go to a convention. He says they just appeared in his inventory the other day (he suspects from a box he opened, but isn't sure). So... What's the deal? Are they available or not? Any help in this matter would be appreciated as oddly enough the Net as a whole seems clueless on the entire matter of their existence aside from them being a convention exclusive.
Everyone except for Kirk on TOS or Picard on TNG. Others might explain why?

O.O I've charged through ARC before... Huh.
