in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
post the update earlier the game hasn't been working right and I know that im not the only person having problems how many other people

    I was on Risa after the patch...trading in birds and monkeys. So, no troubles over here. I was flying around and doing Artifact hunts for a bit, too.

    the server going afk in a match and by the time it fixes it self the match is over and I have a afk penlty ive filed the glich and taken a ticket. also I ask around in alpha quad zone chat and someone clamed they got leaving penlty from leaving ds9

    So, you are getting disconnected from the server when you join a PvE queue? And you have to sign back in from the sign in screen on the program. Or do you have to sign back in from the launcher?

    You wait for the penalty timer....and try to join another queue. And it happens, again?
    And keeps happening every time you join a queue since this morning's patch.

    This sounds familiar...weren't people having problems like this while running STO in 64-bit instead of 32-bit?
    There is a way to change that in the launcher.

    You could go through several posts on the forums about it...from people who probably have all the reasons and what fors....

    But just want to try it and see if it fixes it:

    Sign out of STO.
    Call up the Launcher.
    Type in your password....wait for "Engage" button.
    Then hit "Options" on the launcher.
    Scroll through the menu...there should be an option on there for 32-bit or 64-bit....I forgot the wording.

    ok so i had been playing through steem and sto is free to play so when i tryed to swich to 32 bit the game kept crashing im now trying to install through ark as i have already reinstalled through steam, that did nothing meaning the problem is steam. for some reason the launcher auto update isnt working as well though and is hafing to restart. steam vershon wasnt like this at all any advice

    I have no idea about what Steam does for STO. Reinstalling the program and still is broken? I don't know enough to tell you what else you can try. Maybe someone who knows Steam will come by read your thread.

    Or does Steam have a forum over there you can check? They may have more.

    i got the ark virshon patching after sending a mesage to ark soport expalning it fixed now i just half to wait for engage the inishal time just saw your comment and wanted to let u know it should be good now

    and this isnt the first time a free to play mmo ive goten over on steam royaly messed up... it happoned with dcuo which i no longer play because all the fun is gone but back then i just got that game from their website and that solved problem i just wish my net was any good for instaling things common conplaint with it is internet instalations take for ever and it is true but only if it isnt from 2:00 am and 8:00 am i geuss ill be up all night but worth it because ive played ALOT of games and sto is the #1 game in my book because it is just that much fun and nothing more
