Have you checked your overflow bag? People sometimes forget to look there.

Also, if you can't find it anywhere.. if you have a ship that has that item as part of a saved loadout, try switching to that loadout and see if it brings the item back.

    I hope you find it.

Ok, well there is only one other thing I can think of to try, but it's a long shot.

Go to ship manager where you select what ship you want to have active.
Go to your active ship and click on one of the fore-weapon slots (assuming it's a ship that can use Cannons.)

This will bring up a list for you to pick any weapon you have in inventory. It should show any weapon that's in your inventory, your bank, or on another ship. If the item is not in that list, then sadly it's gone.

If that's that case, you can open a ticket with support and ask them to roll back your account to attempt to recover the item. If they do it, then any progress you made between the restore point and now will be lost, but you might get the weapon back.

Perhaps it is left in the upgrade UI?

It maybe too late now but I’ve had it where I’ve been deleting something from inventory and it’s swapped equipped items and deleted them so if I notice it’s gone I check the replicator tab before changing maps

I had an engine disappear, but that was the game deciding double click meant equip to current ship visual slot rather than current ship that has no engine equipped...

I had one happen the other day on my romulan tactical..

I joined a Borg Red Alert and when the 'warp in' was done, I noticed I couldn't move. I was flying at an incredibly low speed.. inching along.. something was definitely off. Clicking 'full impulse' did absolutely nothing, I was stuck.

I opened my status screen and my impulse engine was just gone. Not on the ship, not in my inventory, not in overflow.. just.. gone. It was an Epic Iconian so I kind of wanted it back. The fix was clicking on my saved loadout, that pulled the item back from 'the void' and I was able to continue playing.

I always encourage people to save load outs, even if you don't change gear or traits. If something disappears, clicking on your load out can save you.

I do save my current loadouts, just in case of things like this. I don't have separate loadouts for separate things, I just keep whatever I have and save it.

Haven't lost anything yet, but I'm crossing my fingers.
Now a LTS and loving it.

I accidentally equipped random space junk instead of salvaging it, and the ship item that swaps places ends up being something not in my inventory but from another one of my ships altogether. Check all of your ships and shuttles. If not, look again carefully through inventory and maybe even bank. If you still have no luck, I think there's a topic in bug support forum for items that have went poof. Good luck.

hi people, one of you suggested the upgarade UI, it wasnt trying to upgrade it as it was already epic, the one thing i did forget to mention was my epic weapon was replace with a plsma dual beam bank and the only place i had one was my inventory, but as i said first time it wasn't anywhere to be found. thanks for all your comments though :) , it is usually me that helps people with this kind of thing, i'm not a fan of being the victim LOL.

This sounds like it could be related to an old bug I was tracking awhile back. If it turns out to be the case, either myself or one of my cohorts will move this thread to the appropriate bug reporting forum.

In regards to the folks having items go to the visual slots I do know one of the devs had stated previously by default when double clicking the items are set to go to the visual slots first if it's an open slot. Far as to why you would have to ask them as I'm not privileged to know that information.

just to be safe as there have been bugs with the overflow bag before put in this code /lootcancel

that code will force anything in your overflow bag back to your inventory if there is space. I also had a similar issue happen where there was a delayed return of my items if that makes sense. Took about 3 weeks for a piece of ground armor to show back up for me. Anyways that's getting away from the main point here.

For your items try going to another ship with an open slot and seeing if you can select it from the list there. If the item shows in the list, but you can't see it anywhere else, get some screenshots of it, even if they're crappy cell phone quality and post them up.
