So I've been having an issue with the graphics in STO lately since I started playing again. Pretty much the meshes on players and NPCs and some objects when on ground missions/stations, etc stretch, sometimes infinitely. It's usually a black textureless triangle stretching to infinity. Sometimes they might be a white or other color depending on the NPC or object.
This is probably the tamest example of the issue. As you can see there is stretching on the other player.

I've tried looking up graphical issues like this but have found nothing.
So I've been doing everything I can find suggested for other graphical issues. Ie. the pixely tailor preview (which I also have).
This is on the Arc downloaded version. When I played previously on the same graphics card on Steam I had never seen this issue before.
Graphics drivers are up to date. Graphics: R7 260x on Windows 7 64bit. No issues in other games.

Things I've tried:
Verifying/Repairing files through launcher.
Turning off MXAA and any other aliasing. It was already off in-game and its off in Radeon graphics settings. So I also tried turning it on aswell.
Using the DirectX 9 command in the launcher. Was the longest I went without the problem surfacing, but it eventually showed up.
Turned down Shadows to low.
Turned off screen-space occlusion.
Switched from Windowed fullscreen to just fullscreen. Resolution 1980x1080
Edit: Also re-downloaded and still happens.
Anyone have any other ideas?

Also noticed the Texture Aniscoptic Filter turns itself back on as well as shadows back to max randomly (client restart I noticed it and changing Lighting). Not sure if its something to do with toggling Lighting 2.0. Haven't had time to fiddle with it too much.
But at the very least seems like I can at least make the game playable when stuff starts getting out of hand.
