This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
let's not be limited in our thinking, here...every set that includes a weapon needs a choice of every weapon type currently available - including special ones like heavy turrets, omni beams and wide arc cannons
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
There ought to be more to choice of energy type than the color of the beams. And frankly, disruptor has more available to it than any other energy type in terms of sets.
The game should be balanced by forcing players to make choices, not eliminate the need tradeoffs when making various decisions.
Why is it that there is no option for the Nausicaan Disruptor to come as dual heavy canons? Most other energy weapons sets offer DHC variants.
I agree that each set should have a cannon, and a beam option, but with this specific set I would say adding a dual/dual-heavy cannon option might not be that great, while giving us a heavy single cannon variant of the Nausicaan Disruptor array would fit nicely. Though i honestly wish they would make it that in a set the beam/cannon weapon could switch between two modes, like a cannon type could toggle between the single cannon mode an a dual cannon mode for instance.
Disagree. There ought to be more to choice of energy type than the color of the beams. And frankly, disruptor has more available to it than any other energy type in terms of sets.

I don't think that limiting a set to only being fully usable by a single weapon type is a good method of giving variety in choices, but I do think that some sets should be more potent with certain weapon types an that should be the driving force that makes players make the choice of what to use. Making it that using a complete set is completely off the table if you are not running the weapon type that it supports just limits choice not makes the choice mater more, but making it that if you are running a weapon type the set functions well with an you specced into the proc type of the set is a good way of making a choice actually matter.
I would like this set and some others to have more than one energy weapon to pick from. For example, there's no cannon option for the Nukara space set. No omnibeam option for the Counter Command Undine reputation set. No experimental Romulan cannon option. Though if they were to add a cannon option to the Romulan reputation, how would you have the 3 piece clicky work? As a CRF 3 or something, since the beam version is like Beam Overload. Same with fielding 3 pieces of the Nukara set, if you had a cannon version? Widening the effect for additional targets via CSV? Having additional pepper shots from CRF bounce to additional targets?
Even though it is unfortunate that there isn't a whole lot for proton as a damage type, I do like the hybrid for the Heavy Proton reputation weapon from the Dyson rep.
I would agree with adding more options, but only if all energy types get those options.
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."
