Merging all topics, questions/answers, and discussion threads regarding: The Gamma Vanguard Pack from the C-Store. This includes purchasing and/or acquiring said pack and its contents: Jem'Hadar and Cardassian items.

    I'm hoping it lasts until at least Saturday because that way I could get the zen I need to buy it. How long will it last any devs or people with cryptic know?

    I hope so. Really I do I'm thinking of buying the Cardassion today then when I get the funds I'll buy the gamma pack.

    So I went looking at the Cardassian Ships (I bought the Gamma starter pack while Cardassian stuff is getting fixed/updated, ect...), and I noticed their is the Cardassian Intel Ship bundle.

    It includes the Damar, Ghemor, Depata, and to my surprise the T5 Galor, priced at 6000 zen. Not a bad price for 4 ships that can be used on any Character!

    For the cost of 2 individually purchased T6 C-store ships, you get 4 ships, 3 T6 and 1 T5 a Intel Science Dreadnought, Intel Flight Deck Cruiser, Intel Escort, and a regular cruiser. I got to save up a bit more, but I'm buying the bundle. The only other ship I want would be the JV Carrier, which I'll get eventually, once I get around to it, but the Cardassian Intel bundle is first.

    If anyone who has the Cardassian ships can answer please can the Yukuwas Frigates be used in any ship hangar, not just on Cardassian ships?

    just sloted it on a kdf command battlecruiser then a mirror vo'quv. so I'm saying yes it can go where ever you wish.

    Wow, first none lockbox frigates that are universal!!! (There is one type of frigate that can do that).

    Thanks for the intel.

    Interesting that these ships have consoles and frigates that aren't locked to ship class unlike most others.

    Saw this bundle at the store and got hopeful for a jem specific bundle but it seems the only option is the starter and 13k ones.

    Assuming full price as 15k and spoonhead ships being 6k I'd be tempted (as someone thats decided not to buy ships just for cards) by 9-10k pricetag on a jem bundle.

    I'd look for confirmation from a dev about the unlocked frigates. Sounds like a bug to me, and It'd suck for you if it got fixed at a later date - especially if you forked out for Elite ones.

    That is one of the reasons I'm holding off on buying the bundle yet, stuff on the ships and the Cardassian race needs to be fixed (but I will eventually get it). Right now I'm enjoying my Gamma Starter Pack, the Vanguard Jem'hadar is cool, I gave him Drow hair, from behind he looks like Drizzt, his special outfit, and most of all the awesome JV Dreadnought Cruiser, so much fun, love that ship. Best 2000 Zen I spent ever. The Gun Boats and JV Heavy Raider Wingmen are fun.

    I'm looking foreward to using my Callistos and a hangar of Yukuwas in the future.

    According to the ingame info, and the info cards for the unlocked ships, you receive:
    T5 Jem’Hadar Heavy Escort Carrier

    T6 Jem’Hadar Vanguard [Heavy] Raider
    T6 Jem’Hadar Vanguard Destroyer [Warship?]
    T6 Jem’Hadar Vanguard Carrier
    T6 Jem’Hadar Vanguard Dreadnought Cruiser
    T5 Cardassian Galor Cruiser
    T6 Cardassian Intel Flight-Deck Cruiser – Ghemor-class
    T6 Cardassian Intel Escort – Detapa-class
    T6 Cardassian Intel Science Dreadnought – Damar-class

    The [bracketed] text in the above refers to a difference between the pack info and the actual ship info. The Raider for instance is actually a Heavy Raider, and I'm assuming the Destroyer is the Warship but it's not clear. The news page fails to mention the T6 Jem’Hadar Vanguard Carrier and the T5 Cardassian Galor Cruiser.

    I'm assuming the actual pack contents are a work in progress with more ships being included since the original news article. More ships is always good, but 1,300 zen per ship and no faction limitations - the 4x T6 Jem’Hadar vessels unlock for all factions once you use a Jem’Hadar toon to level them, mean it's possibly a better deal than the Temporal Special Agent Pack which offers a total of 12 ships, but only 3x cross faction T6's and 5x Federation specific T5\T6 ships for 15,000 zen.

    a lot of bugs to be expected after expansion launch. no doubt most stuff will be fixed in a week.

    vanguard are cool. loving the carrier. i would have held off buying bundle as well but wanted vanguard day one. can deal with the glitches he has for a few days until fixed. Yukuwa Frigates definitely great to have, will probably use those over vanguard gunboats

    If you have the Carrier, you could use a hangar of each.

    I purchased Gamma Vanguard Starter Pack - Star Trek Online and cannot find it in the store to claim it. Can someone help?

    mini map screen should be store button on there and should be in discount tab.

    cant grab vanguard ships until jem'hadar unlocks mastery on ship

    Hey there, thanks for the reply. Yes I have went to the store and just cannot seem to find it. I find the Vangaurd the non starter but just not the starter. I have spent a bit of time looking. Could it be because I am so new and still running through a starting quest line? Thanks again.

    these frigates work from federation hangars as well? the federation lacks frigate sized pets in their armadas.

    One last question and I will just leave this until a later day. Every time I enter a new zone or mission scene a pop window saying welcome back and my username pops up with different info on it like a news/info screen. Is there a way to disable this? Thanks again hehe. :)

    If you bought the starter it should be at the top, or near the top of the discount packs tab.. if its not showing up there as available i would contact support, you might get the help you need.

    OP, i know the consoles are cardy ship only atm, so im going to assume the ships are. It's possible im wrong thugh, as someone said they could do it now. Maybe Cryptic mixed it up, as the consoles were supposed to be usable by any ship.

    @tabbuu77 What level is your character? The Cardassian ships are all endgame ships, so if your character's level isn't high enough that may be why you can't claim them.

    Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this Welcome back screen that's popping up every time I do a scene change? Its interfering with combat at times. :(

    @tabbuu77 That shouldn't do that. Sounds like a bug. You will need to file a bug report.

    It's a bug, happens to me too.
    Now a LTS and loving it.
    Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.

    The Galor, when unpacked, gives you four Mk XII VR Spiral Wave Beam Arrays in your Inventory and unlocks Spiral Waves for purchase in the Dilitium Store.

    So in theory I could put the Cardasian Frigates on my JHDC? Since I haven't unlocked it's Frigates due to lack of a bug ship on my Ferasan?

    There are Jem'Hadar Frigates that come with the new Vanguard Ships as well. Don't know if they can be used on the JHDC.
