Don't forget about the dual commander boff seats on the new JHLBC. On a 5/3 cruiser that has a weapons cost reduction aura, can field dual cannons, has 4 tact console slots, AND a 13 base turnrate. LTC Tact/Intel, Engi COM, Uni COM, LT sci.
I forgot where I was reading it.....but either the Jem or Cardie ships have buffs that protect against flanking, too. LOL!
So they just brought out new enemy NPCs that attack from Flank....then negate the whole mechanic. Do all the players WANT to play on easy mode? Is that what I see everyone on the Forums asking for? LOL!

Yes. And Cryptic is all too eager to appease them.
But I always see people asking for more challenges (better AI)....not for boring (HP bags) and easy (more DPS centric).
I've always seen the "better AI" requests as a red herring. An excuse to ask for reduced enemy stats. There's no such thing. And whenever an NPC does do anything more than lazily float around waiting to be shot, people whine it's "annoying."
What you don't often see is people asking for fail conditions, enemies strong enough to actually kill a player with less than 20-to-1 odds, content that requires (or even strongly suggests) specialized builds and strategy, etc.
A T6 K’Vort and T6 Vor’Cha have been on my wishlist for a longtime.
All the T6 Vor’cha really needs is a specialization seating and a slight increase in hull and shields. Also maybe some sort of heavy disruptor blast as seen in the TNG episode when the Klingon empire begins a civil war. Make it a miracle worker ship!
The Federation is still missing the Norway class, Yeager class, and a couple from ST:Enterprise.
The Romulans have never received a whole lot of love in the tv series, but there’s an opportunity to design something more cannon-like for a bundle.
Exactly why CCA is so popular; a 'mission' that lasts all of twenty seconds and rewards generously. The epitome of something for nothing.
But it isn't what YOU want??? Is it?
It is only "Players out there" that want this? But you will join in, huh?
What is wrong with wanting more than what "all the bad players out there want"? I don't play video games that much and even "I" want to puzzle things out in combat.
Which is why I never went for the DPS race and be done in 10 seconds route.
Which was why I was looking at PvP before I found out it was a shopping list of all the high end traits and consoles. LOL!

I totally support those ideas. A hybrid Command/Miracle Worker for the T6 Vor'Cha would be amazeballs.
I would love to see a real Norway class rather than that stupid Oslo class knockoff. While I support having the Oslo Naccelles and Saucer as options for the Norway, the hull does not work for a legit Norway. And with a Marquis Raider now in the game, I would LOVE to see the Yeager-Intrepid as a T4 Escort and a T6 Fleet refit. The New Orleans could be the T4 cruiser with a tac secondary, and the Springfield/Chekov as the T4 science alternative.

I was looking at some of the t6 improvements. the Ewllse to Verne? changing the LT Sci to a LCDR Sci/temp. and a trait no change other than that. I think most if not all are like that. but I really really want to see the K'Vort, Karfi,Vo'Quv and Vor'Cha
BoP was supposed to be "outside the box"...with high turn rate, all universal seating, raider flanking and cloak. We had low crew contingent and low hull points which translated to our hulls being fully healed quickly. But to "make up for it" there was less of everything else (boffs, consoles, weapons).
Cryptic kinda gave that all away a while ago....and didn't pass out disadvantages to the degree that the BoP has to deal with. (I know, the kids don't, or won't, deal with a ship that doesn't do thing automatically, any more. Can't have a side of thinking with playing your combat games.)
Does popping in a Specialization BOFF is going to make the BoP scary, again? Can it make up for the "less of everything else" part.
It does not make BoP "outside the box", any more, either.
What would make it unique for KDF?

When was the last time you saw a T5(Not T5-U mind you) and below ship pumped out by Cryptic?
I am wondering if the Hull Regeneration part of BoP defense is NOT keeping up with the pace of the game, any more.
I guess, I will find out...as I had enough time to be done with my obsession of "completing everything" mastery on all three Pilot Raptors on all three characters I activated them on. FINALLY.
Will be sticking everyone back in Kor. Could be interesting since the last experience in Kor, I have trained my BOFFs with Pilot. And I have not used Kor with Pilot BOFF abilities in the past.
Though, if the issue with BoP is hull regen....maybe another approach should be taken. Consoles and boff abilities being limited...I will have to take a closer look at specialization passives, besides Pilot.
I want to avoid the rush on Victory is Life, first.
I will read your post later, patrickngo. As I am typing and gardening at the same time. LOL!

What is wrong with wanting more than what "all the bad players out there want"? I don't play video games that much and even "I" want to puzzle things out in combat.
You can always want. But Cryptic is quite committed to Easy Mode so not likely anything's gonna come out of it.

You should know better than wait on Cryptic to make the game YOU want....
OK... Do you Epic Mark 14 out all your gear...and planning on doing the same to Mark 15? Do you stack every single trait in every single trait box....and bought ALL the trait slot unlocks? Did you fill all your Specialization points in? Do you fiddle with the slot machine to gain the "perfect" set of mods?
Guess what? Doesn't that mean you are participating in: Easy Mode?
++++++++++
Anyhoo.... part of the changes I am going to be making when I switch back to Kor BoP. I am removing all Starship Traits, and Space Rep Traits. Just going with the basic Space traits. I am never going to go past Mark 12 Purple...more likely going to go DOWN to Mark 11 on Weapons.
I can't turn off Specializations....so I am leveling up new characters with no specialization points.
Will I have handicapped myself too much by doing this? If so, I will add back a few traits, one at a time until I find it at comfortable level.
+++++++++++
I spent 4-5 years....leveling, filling this and that bar out, collecting traits, consoles, gear....where has it got me??? Bored. I am going to stop listening to all you sad hats grinding your asses off for numbers nirvana, now.
And going my own way. LOL!
EDIT MONSTER TRIBBLE OFF, PLEASE! I just changed a few words.

Gear upgrades a waste of dilithium, not needed for anything. All I've ever used are the few free upgrades I've got. I do collect traits (I collect everything that doesn't have an inventory cap) and specs kinda fill themselves over time.

Until you get to the Time/Reward ratio. Then people want quicker. Which leads to more power creep like the new JHLBC gamblebox ship.

Not that that's on-topic or anything.
As opposed to? Not playing the game at all?
