Klingon Auto Fire Broken

valyont49valyont49 Member Posts: 6 Arc User
All my Klingon characters Auto-fire seems to be broken. They been broken since you all made Auto-fire on by default. My fed characters work just fine.

I've dismounted weapons and remounted them , made sure green border was around the weapons I wanted to Auto-fire ,still don't work. Also did a integrity file check, hoping maybe the Klingon files was corrupted , nothing seem to work.

    I assume, it is only Klingons you are having problems with? Federation is OK???

    Check the AUTO FIRE and TARGETING settings in the OPTION Menu.
    Make the KLINGON characters match your Federation characters manually.

    +++++++

    If you did not make many custom changes to settings.....

    "Copy UI" on the Character that works.... and go to the Klingon characters that are broken click on "Load UI".

    This should make your Klingons work exactly like your Federation characters.

    How do you copy UI from another character ?.. I save UI on fed that worked.. But don't see a option under load UI for that character. I see load UI but there no drop down menu or anything to select another UI .

    I know...it is strange sounding. There is only one Save UI file, so nothing to select.

    "Save UI" on character that works...clicking that button saves a file "somewhere". There will be no indication anything actually happened. I think it just gets over written when you click "Save UI" again.

    I do not know the program well enough to know where it saves it. Maybe someone else can tell you...or maybe look in the Wiki???? Anyhoo...IF you knew where the program saves that "Save UI" file, you can look at it.

    Once the "good" file is saved....

    SWITCH to the broken character and click on the "Load UI" in the Options on that character. The program loads the file saved previously and applies it to that character.

    Test to make sure everything is alright.

    Move to the next broken character, do the same "Load UI" thing...you should not have to "Save UI" again...because it is already done.

    +++++++++++++++++++++

    You can do the same thing MANUALLY as in get out the paper and pen....
    or take screen shots and compare settings. Then adjust settings accordingly....one by one by clicking on the buttons in Option.
