Please use this thread to post any feedback or issues found in regards to creating a new Jem'Hadar captain.
Create a Jem’Hadar Captain:
Create a Jem’Hadar Captain from the character select screen.
These Captains begin at level 60 upon entering the game.
After choosing a faction, Jem’Hadar Captains can fly most of their chosen faction’s ships.
Upon completion of the new Gamma Quadrant Arc, Jem’Hadar captains will gain access to their chosen faction’s episodes prior to the events of the Gamma Quadrant Arc.
about the Spec Tree.. why you dont give us just the points ( 45 ) and we can choose what we need.. for example i dont need full command there.. its a waist for me.
I like the Dominion faction UI for character creation. The species customizations look good. At this time, advanced uniform is not saving in the saved templates. My species customization is saving alright though.

All of the various uniform attatchments (wrist, arm, hips, etc) are color bound: changing a color on one of them changes the same color slot on all of them.
In the initial Jemmie mission, right off the bat, the rain layer of the graphics seems to hang, leaving a partial overlay in my visual field even when I've moved out of that area.
Jem'Hadar tailor window on DS9 (once you go into Garak's Shop and click on the tailor button) has no background. Just plain white space, with tailor UI on top.
Also, does the Jem'Hadar have a faction hub in the GQ?
I love all the different ridge and scale patterns available; that'll help set my different Jem'Hadar apart when this goes live. Could we get more skin tones, though? We don't have a lot of choices as things stand.
The white/Shroud mechanic is fun, and helps make the experience of playing a Jem'Hadar feel fresh. It'd be more fun if my boffs wouldn't constantly charge ahead towards the enemy I'm trying to sneak up on, but that's nothing that boff commands can't fix, I suppose. Oh, and kudos for making Security Team spawn the proper NPCs right from the start. (I do notice that the Jem'Hadar tricorder sound is missing in most cases; is this a bug?)
I love love LOVE the Jem'Hadar UI. I don't know quite what it is, but something about the way the colors, shapes and somewhat understated sounds come together is extremely pleasing to me.
Some bugs I found:
As others have mentioned, the UI isn't showing the right ship graphics for the starter bugship, but I assume that's part of the "work in progress" I tried other ships, and their graphics showed up fine for the most part, but their icons showed up as white squares in the Switch Starship menu. Admiralty ships also show up as white squares, even for those ships that have a proper icon on Holodeck.
When I go to ESD as my Jem'Hadar (literally any time I do so), I get a popup from the Fed tutorial EMH.
There is no beam-up button on the Starfleet Academy map. This means that my Jem'Hadar, who beamed down to that map, is now completely trapped there. Obviously, this means I'm done testing for now.
ETA: Forgot to mention that my Fed-Jem also can't edit registry numbers on ally ships. Is this ability going to be added -- and, if so, will Fed-Roms also get that ability back?

I believe the intent is for the character to be playable straight out of the gate with no need to do all the stuff we've done as more veteran players (farm spec points, agonize over where exactly to put those points, which Reputation(s) to get to Tier 5 first, etc.).
It may not be an ideal setup, but for the new player that's a ton of work done right at character creation.
Plus, letting more desirable specializations/reputations/R&D schools go empty gives the player something to grind for.
If I were Cryptic, my response may be, "Which set of 45 did you not like? Command/Intel, Miracle Worker/Command, or Intel/Command? What would be a better mix for any/all of those?"
Another thought...if Command isn't a well-liked Spec, maybe this is a way for them to expose players to it since it costs players practically nothing but time.
For some reason Starfleet Academy has the "Beam to Ship" Option Greyed out, and the only means to leave the map is through a dialogue prompt which is usually active when you enter the map. It doesn't appear for Jem'Hadar Characters... and now I'm stuck... cause I wanted Doffs. lol
Some of the issues I observed as a KDF-Jem, when trying to beam out or in you just appear no transporter effect. On the Jem bridge you have kdf crew manning posts. Will post more issues later after creating new Jem as I’m stuck in the beta quadrant

This is a common issue with a lot of uniform pieces. If you press the "randomize" button, it'll unbind the color selection.

In the Admiralty, the Jem'hadar Fighter in the Ship Roster has the Romulan shuttle icon/fighter to it. Thought I would mention that here. I'm sure it'll be updated in a future release. Thank you for your hard work on the New Expansion.
Jemhadar security escorts are Romulan faction instead of Dominion faction.
Jemhadar bridge officers have no optional traits. At least aggressive, soldier, covert, and possibly polaron weapon specialist should be added to the pool of optional traits in addition to peak health and stubborn.
Let the other factions unlock the Jemhadar figher in some way.
Just got My Jem captain. Respecced it almost right away. Just waited until I talked with Weyoon first. Got my ship. Love that it's a Jem Bug ship. Only complaint right now is that My Boffs have a full set of abilities, that I can't change. I want to change the space abilities at least as I have a standard set I use. Please give us a way to change Boff abilities at the Requisitions area after we get promoted to first! Every thing else is great, A full set of Jem'hadar armor, weapons and the space sets fantastic for starting equipment. Loving it so far, just want to change the Boff abilities!
One of my wingmen destroyed the transport ship in the opening mission and it didn't click with the mission tracker. Had to restart.
Not sure if the FED got anything, but joining the KDF doesn't unlock any unique uniform.
Despite being at level 60 Dominion captain doesn't have any duty officers and R&D holograms. Bug or a feature? If you want to avoid exploits at least give as a cadre of common doffs that is bound on pickup.
Lack of unique Dominion hub. Makes the faction look even less unique than it already is. Can't buy (even common) JH bridge officers or get some JH duty officers. The only transwarp I have is Qo'nos. Jem'Hadar should at least have transwarp to the Wormhole/Gamma Quadrant by default.
Only one tac-focused free ship and no free tokens to buy a ship of your ally. Romulans got Ha'apax (eng), Ha'nom (sci) and Ha'feh (tac). Dominion only get a tac ship.
Claimed the veteran reward EV suit. Got the KDF EV suit which I cannot equip ("your character cannot use this item"). No unique JH EV suit.
No transporter effect after picking KDF allies.
Once I leveled to 61 I've been congratulated by... Worf...
I hear I'm supposed to have access to my ally story missions, but the Episodes only show a single mission (Storm Clouds Gather). No other tabs.
Beamed to the bridge and it's staffed by random KDF members.
I took a look at the available ships for my Jem'hadar captain. I went fed side if your wondering. I saw the Chimera/Manticore and Captains' Yacht available. Is this for real real? I'm hoping it's just for play play. I was looking forward to seeing what we'd get as the unique Lifetime Membership Reward ships.
On the other hand opening up the Romulans to be able to fly their allies' ships now makes sense! With the Jem'hadar able to do the same you only need to produce a handful of ships, then just open up the allied arsenal.
I'm still disappointed however. I want unique faction ships for the Lifetime Rewards. Not this lazy [REDACTED]!
BUFF Science and Engineering Captain Skills. Captain skillset is sending the wrong message that Devs are buffing only Tact skills and negating all other careers? Either that or just do away with SCI/ENG for these captains
bug #4,708,452
Mission, Hunt, unable to complete step "Stop the Wave of Escapees", escapees defeated, but no completion. Has happened twice on SCI captains, did not occur on ENG.
Jem'hadar captains appear to be lacking the profession specific traits they should gain while leveling.
If a jem'hadar captain travels to the beta quadrant before progressing far enough, they will be unable to return or (as far as I can tell) play pretty much any content. Can't even go to sol system (as a fed aligned jem'hadar) without transwarping there. The only way I found to get back to the game was to transfer energy credits through the account bank and transwarp to the next mission start.

I find this reputation the toughest to complete, and also the most neutral for all career types due to it's Mix/Match Sets.
I would absolutely adore if it had full completion of the Rep, but if that's not possible, I'd request at least T3 to give us a boost.
You will be trapped.
You cannot leave the map.

Same thing Fed-side. (This was also the case with 23c in early AoY testing, so hopefully it just means they don't have everything hooked up yet.)
They did say it was a "Work in Progress", so I would expect such things to be present in the full release.

This not a Sci Set UP its a Tac Based Set UP.
Original STO beta tester.
