Game Auto-Skipping Tutorial (Starting 11 May)

I tried to create a new Delta Recruit before the event ends. I started a Starfleet character only to have my cadet character appear instantly in Earth orbit (aka Sol System), exploding. Upon respawning, I got the dialogue from the Quinto EMH about being a father figure, which hasn't been played since the original tutorial ended. I couldn't go to the real tutorial start. I deleted three times and tried again, getting the same result. Then I tried a Romulan character. The game started me immediately onboard the Romulan flotilla. I admit, I haven't tried Klingon, yet.

    What??? I still have not had a chance to make my Delta Recruit on the Rom side. :( ARRRGGHHH!

    Go figure Cryptic breaks something by adding a Landing Page????? GRRRRRRR!!!!

    I was able to create a new Romulan Character.....doing the Tutorial on Virinat now.

    Delta recruit should have ended May 18th but the create character page still says "Create delta recruit". I made one and loged out and looked to see if it had a delta emblem but it dosent.. They need to change the "create delta recruit" banner.

    Well noticed im still getting the delta even bonus in mission also when the event should be over??? Hell I dunno anymore.

    Well...it is probably because it is the Saturday, 12th of May.

    OK. This is NOT happening to me over here.

    I was being VERY patient and allowed ALL cut scenes to play through.
    All 3 of them....did not realize there were so many on the Rom tutorial.

    Anyhoo....PANICKED after reading this! And as it turned out: For no reason!!!!

    My new Romulan Character is on Virinat....talking to Tovan Khev about khellids....and, now, off to get a pistol.

    Yes, new character is a Delta Recruit...even has her Tasseract Device in her inventory. :)

    It appears to be fine for now. Whatever went wrong, it seems to be over for me.

    do the other characters have to talk to cary before the event ends to get the goodies/

    I think, technically, all you need to do is receive the Tesseract Communication Device from yourself. You might not need to finish the tutorial before the event ends, but I wouldn't risk it.
