Only console players wanting the new Allied Pilot Escort Bundle get the -30% but still decent -25% flash sale since for 12 hr.s & across all 3 platforms if there's something a person wants to have & missed during the last sale.
Tough call since Cryptic usually has brand new spanking ships released with expansions but if you've been waiting for a specific ship to be on sale for a certain character that makes sense.
Well I'm gonna miss out because sto decided to star a 22gb patch lastnight
Holy **** on a cracker that is a big patch ... probably Cryptic preparing for the expansion but that is June isn't it?
Maybe. So last night on the 21st I bought some zen through arc so I could get the bonus 300Z. How ever I launch through steam, and when I clicked play it started downloading the 22gb like it wanted to do as if I was getting it from the arc launcher.
Also I looked and the game file is 26.7gb total, so I don't know wtf is in the "patch"
I already bought all the T6 ships in the store through successive sales, so today was all about acquiring those few ships whose sets have a T5 part as well as 6. I'm a "gotta catch 'em all" kind of guy!
I've no idea what Cryptic has against the Galaxy though, it was the only bundle I've seen that wasn't discounted. There may be others that I'm oblivious to.
As for the services side of things, I'd be more interested if they offered account-wide ship and BOFF slots the way they do with costumes.

Big packs such as Temporal Special Agent are excluded as well.
The Flash sale is live now. Since it started an hour late, it'll run an extra hour.
So this was a 14 hour sale? I saw it advertised when I logged on earlier and planned to do some purchasing after running through my toons. Clearly that was a mistake because the sale has finished and I've still a couple more toons to run through.
Okay just reread the original post. I thought it was a 24 hour sale but instead it said 8am-8pm PST. Problem is that discriminates against half the planet, and I reside in that half.
Here's a comparison:
Los Angeles (USA) - Thursday, 22 March 2018 at 8:00:00 am to Thursday, 22 March 2018 at 8:00:00 pm
London (United Kingdom) - Thursday, 22 March 2018 at 3:00:00 pm to Friday, 23 March 2018 at 3:00:00 am
Berlin (Germany) - Thursday, 22 March 2018 at 4:00:00 pm CET to Friday, 23 March 2018 at 4:00:00 am
New Delhi (India) - Thursday, 22 March 2018 at 8:30:00 pm IST to Friday, 23 March 2018 at 8:30:00 am
Taipei (Taiwan) - Thursday, 22 March 2018 at 11:00:00 pm to Friday, 23 March 2018 at 11:00:00 am
Sydney (Australia) - Friday, 23 March 2018 at 2:00:00 am to Friday, 23 March 2018 at 2:00:00 pm
Wellington (New Zealand) - Friday, 23 March 2018 at 4:00:00 am to Friday, 23 March 2018 at 4:00:00 pm
Anyone east of New Delhi was likely asleep while this sale was on, or at work\school. In the interest of avoiding future discrimination please please please make future flash sales 24 hour affairs!
Wow. Its pretty sorry that those of us who actually work for our money were not allowed to participate in this sale. Since I work nightshift I typically get home about 4:30 am and log on to this game. I am asleep long before this sale started, and it ended a long time before I came home from work the next day. Reading through the comments it appears that many other people were not allowed to take advantage of this very poorly executed promotion.
This is actually quite a slap in the face. I suppose the only people worthy of getting deals are those with no responsibilities, or those so obsessed that they spend EVERY spare moment playing. Very disappointing.
This has convinced me to finally buy the T6 Intel Assault cruiser.
It's one of those purchases that I've postponed for a while, especially after the T6 Kumari took up my saved Zen last time
I'm very happy with the ship, with both of them.
Until you realise the T6 Sovereign has a BIG drawback. It has no science BOFF stations, so you have to put a Sci in the universal one. Unfortunately that station is also the only Intel one on the ship, so you're forced to choose between Sci and Intel powers.
This is why I don't use the Intel aspect at all and just use it as a Tactical cruiser.

Holy TRIBBLE on a cracker that is a big patch ... probably Cryptic preparing for the expansion but that is June isn't it?

Quality of Life Improvements for the Mission Journal
Enhancement for the Duty Office Assignments
Enhancement for Admiralty Missions
Enhancement for Accolades and Reward
Enhancement Bridge Officers
Another thing we can say Cryptic can TRIBBLE up! Sadly that list is pretty long.
Pure racism
That leaves only Legacy of Romulus Pack (not interested - i will get the ships separately), DS9 Pack and Steamrunner Bundle...
Now i need to start saving for (possible in the future) Victory is Life Pack.
24 hours for flash sales makes more sense to a global game.
Mistakes happen, sounds like it was balanced out to be as fair as possible. Given that not everyone will like the timing of it again.
