Here's a challenge idea for the podcast, get a ps4 or xbone and as many of the dev team as you can and see how badly they do. You will obviously have to explain what a controller is as its very apparent whoever did the controls first time around had never seen one let alone held one.
The loser then has to spend the next year fixing it (guitar hero style is obvious choice) and making sure the console version also gets quality of life stuff like turning off autohail to prevent philip "TRIBBLE" grey from appearing at random times after login or fully functional auto-use on all abilities not just a handful.
you have nearly a month to get the ship, if you have done the mission and also done the omega quest twice you should have 13 days to go to get the ship, it can be speeded up by spending lobi crystals (5 lobi for 2-6 anniversary vouchers)
USS Sharlin NCC79713 B (part of sheridans access code) - T6, Hestia Class Advanced Escort
USS Babylon IV - T6 Krenim Science Vessel
USS Brakiri - T6 Elachi Escort
"We are Grey. We stand between the darkness and the light."
– Grey Council greeting
> Yes the controls for the omega particle is absolutely aweful but anyone know how long the event is gonna last i work alot and wanna know if i have time to get the ship dont wanna waste my time if i cannot aquire it?
You know you can now use the DPad, right? The minigame is now hard to fail, if anything and has never been easier. You just have to get the hang of it.
> Still not sorted the awful controls for the omega scanning. Or for that matter the huge LEAP it does when you manage to fill the blob on the right.

It's not a thing you can fail either, simply afk'ing will get you a "win" and it's always been that way.
And nothing in the controls can counteract the leap forward of 4-6 blobs each time a completion is done.
Would you want them to bring it to a standstill or how could they possibly make it easier for you?
Edit: The trick is to remember and get used to the left button going all the way up and the right button going all the way to the bottom.
I don't really care much for the scanning nonsense between the dodgy controls (as I've said before guitar hero style abyx would be far better fit to the visual) the numerous loading screens and the habit the game has of throwing 3,2,1, game over moments at you.
I adjusted my play hours so I currently log in while sg-1 is on telly, do stuff during ad breaks and log off again.
