in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
after five times of trying and waiting five times to connect. I can not log into STO. Earlier today, It was working great. So there isnt any internet connection at my end of the keys.

So it has to be one of two things. Too many people on the one server and it is over whelmed, which needs to be updated to at least a few more servers to handle all the players that are logging into through PC and all the video game consoles. Two the game needs a good fixing and a reall good hard look at all the bugs, tech issues, and listening to those that play the game.

    Same here. Waited for 10 minutes, it never went past Connecting. But hey, I got the dishes done in the meantime. :)

    someoen reported on the champions online forums, they cnanot connect to the patch server either....i even tried launcging directly, with out arc...still could not connect.

    Yep, same issues and this morning when i was playing i noticed some random floors and walls were missing when i was out n about farming some underground tholian rep while wearing a space suit and what not, some things were lagging then so i wonder if the server(s) just flat out crashed this evening.

    Same issue here. I couldn't log in earlier today, then I could, now I can't again.

    Yeah, same here as well. Was playing fine earler this evening, tried to enter a mission and the game seemed to freez, never had that happen before. So I closed the game, restarted, and tried to launch. nothing but that dang Cryptic Auto Patch box in the upper left hand screen corner, tried to connect 5 times and then here came the error message: Could not connect to server. Check your internet connection, bla bla bla... Attempted several times to re-launch the game and NOPE!

    Said TRIBBLE it dumped the program, did a complete re-install, and nothing...same old story. Will give it a few days and see if there any cange. Kinda sucks, I was close to making Lt. Commander! hahaha

    same here, damn i almost threw my beer acrossed the room, I used to work SOE and got a sneak peek at alpha, Tested beta1 and 2 before true beta release for public, had to have figured ur gonna have server issues, was 1 of the main things i kept saying for my reviews, either larger loads or more servers, aint got enough, game play was getting REALLY laggy around 6pm CST

    I have had this issue for the past few days. It has been hit or miss.
    I've tried a restart of my computer to fix it.
    I've tried restarting my router.
    Nothing works beyond just waiting and trying again later.

    looks like the patch server has been down for over an hour.

    its wierd man and annoying..Me and a fleetie were chting then she froze and went off..Then came back and then I froze and got booted...And when tried come back for atleast 5 mins it kept saying DCd from account server, DC'd from game server, Timeout..I went and did the groceries and some random work and then tried to log in and it worked..Moment I hit Drozana, BAM, booted again..

    Have the Servers closed for any reason, cannot log in at all right now, was kicked mid game during a mission, at 1st it said server was down but now its just pinging my log in connection out... Thanks for any help
