Thats the question. What happened with these guys? im still waiting for a T6 apex that it seems is never going to come. At this rate. A lot of people are waiting for the T6 Voth and other ones as well. Im guessing there are no plans to bring T6 versions of these? because a looooooong time passed already since cryptic did stop to relaunch older lockboxes.

I doubt you'll find an answer here though, or at all. The ways of Cryptic are as their name states.
This would give the Phoenix box new blood which people have been wanting. It would also allow cryptic to get out the lockbox ships at a faster pace. Because then they could release an update T6 version of an old ship + a new designed ship/2nd T6 updated ship per box allowing for twice the ships released. This would get all the old T5 lockbox ships due for update out of the back log, and let them focus on reg T6 upgrades and new designs, like the T6 Nova/Star cruiser/etc.
Would be much more efficient use of their time and man power saving them time/money and having greater profit because of it. And would make the player base thrilled since more of their fav ships would be endgame worthy again. Not that we cant make do with T5s and less.
On the same note, they need to make Phoenix/Lockbox ships reclaimable on the toon that unlocks it, there is so many now they begin to take up a whole lot of room. This would make a ton of players very very happy.

No doubt talking about expansion 4: Victory Is Life.
^ This. They teased the new expansion in their last trailer. Content releases also usually slow down a bit when they're working on an Expansion as those have more content than the usual season updates.

Weren't the last batch of ships recycled the Xindi ships?
I'm disinclined to believe you sir. Especially seeing as unvincible isn't even a word.
Awful turn rate, lousy boff seating (no specialist), worthless console and it's 4/4 which is bad on a battlecruiser.
Should have been a carrier really, as it stands it's an overgrown paperweight. 800 lobi is better spent elsewhere or EC for that matter. It's smaller brother however, is much better at it's job.
Wasn't the last ones to be update were the Xindi ships?
Anyways...it seems like it's random what they choose or maybe the designers work on certain ones on their free time.
Otherwise, I'm also in the 'Waiting for T6 Voth ships' camp. Hope they decide to release the Citadel as a Promotion ship too.

Hell, they can even make a ship every couple of days, and they will still have time to do anything they want. It is not so hard to make a ship. People keep forgetting this. I mean, unless you only have 1 single guy working in everything... but thats not the case (or is it?). So, my assumption is that they basically abandoned older lobi revamps for now. I hope im wrong.
It's actually a lot harder than you'd think. Aesthetics (New frames, new skin, etc), how to tweak the improvements (how much to upscale the hull, how to balance out the new console, what station to add, etc). Then they have to program them in, test them, and get them all squared away. Then they have to Tribble them, and then release them.
