Bajoran Puke Weapon

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
Would be better if it was a clicky... Can you not heal while this thing is throwing up all over the place? I seem to take insane dmg down to 36% and heals simply don't help me stay alive... The ability is awesome and annihilates but once it starts it is basically insta-death for me (on the Bajoran "ceptor")

    They need to scale it down or give an option to use it...not auto-cast etc. So far the Bajoran set I really like....except for on my escorts.. The damage the ability causes to low HP ships is literally a few seconds and poof.. Only time I survive is if everything dies...and what sucks is I can't turn it off....

    Kinda sounds like when fighting borgs on advanced..No shields..Gotta get better at Hull tanking.

    Huh, I've never been unable to use any form of repairs (Sci Team, Eng Team, EP2SI, EP2Shields, Miraculous Repairs, etc.) when the Coronal Discharge is going off. In fact, I've had it cut off early because I repaired my shield and was no long at 0% on a side...

    Same, I keep cutting it off early when I restore shields. Doesn't seem like it affects healing, unless you've got a bug.

    Looked at logs and i am taking all plasma dmg when it is firing...and not fighting plasma based NPC (Tholian). Trying to get a good vid of the 4k-8k ticks of dmg every time this thing pulses. I put a ticket in as well...Seems I do more damage to myself than anyone else. As for heals nope.

    I find the shield plasma puking to be annoying. Especially with multiple people losing shields right after another. Sometimes it blocks my vision. Just picked up the impulse engines and will unequip the shields. But I’ll have to give the 4 pc bonus a try first.

    The shields are either bugged or are just plain garbage. They get drained super fast then the plasma does insane amounts of damage to my ship.

    It's a miracle the resistance lasted so long if thats the state of bajoran engineering prowess.

    Well, it's more of a combination of Bajoran and Federation tech. I guess the God-tier Federation tech doesn't get along well with the Bajoran peasant tech in some cases...

    Why do think it leaks in the first place? It's not an actual feature, the female Bajoran techs kept yelling at each other and a catastrophic design flaw got past them.

    I like the Bajor set, but yeh...Give us a way to cut off the Mucus Explosion.

    Yea, so I just went through a few Borg queues. Bajoran shield has been retired. 3 piece it is.

    Looks ridiculous spewing snot out of every angle.

    I've gone 2 piece on the Bajoran interceptor, more buffs for my phasers. It's not bad as a ship but with it being Bajoran, it's not up to Federation standards. Good for a civilian/pirate vessel though

      They did; heal your shields or redirect power to the downed shield with the arrow key and it will stop.

      yep. Borg red alert the drained my shields in a second and the puking took me down in about 10 seconds AFTER i hit ET aux2Sif and HE

      Not with the current state of NPC tachyon beam. It's balanced so that even if you have high resist to it it'll still take off a huge chunk of shield.

      I haven't had that happen to me, damaging myself when my shields go down and the retaliation goes off. Happened several times.

      Sounds like a bug or a glitch if that's happening to others.
      Now a LTS and loving it.
      Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
      I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

      I just uninstalled all 4 pieces, not sure who came with that the shield, but they need a brain scan for tumors. I refuse to use it anymore.
