Discovery uniforms

I came back in game recentely after a long absence,and unfortunatelly I missed the Discovery uniforms giveaways.
I’ve heard that they did it twice,so do you think there will be another chance to get these fine uniforms?
I was wondering if they might be released again in the C-store or some lockbox.

It's possible they may run it again sometime, though you might be waiting a while.

I'd guess not for a while, given we've had two opportunities to get them, and the Discovery lockbox has now landed. I can't see them giving them away again for a while. I don't have a crew wearing them as uniforms, but when re-colored, they also make very nice off-duty/undercover garments

Maybe worth paying the unlock price for, if you'd get the use out of them, but only you can make that call as regards how it applies to you

There will be opportunities in the future to acquire these uniforms but Cryptic is not able/ready to talk specifics on this time.

Keep an eye on the official news feeds (there's definitely going to be an announcement one way or the other) to be sure you don't miss out in the event of another giveaway.

There is one possibility for a return of the Discovery uniform.

Back at TNG's 25th Anniversary, part of the giveaway was the season 1 TNG uniform. After that it wasn't available. Then we got the season 1 Admiral uniform in the C-Store, and as an added bonus they included the season 1 uniform that had been available as a giveaway on the anniversary.

So... its possible that they could do something similar with the Discovery uniform by packaging it with say... the Discovery tactical outfit. And honestly... I'd also like to see the KDF get access to the Discovery Klingon armor parts. KDF have so few options as it is compared to Fed, anything to give them more options is a plus. And who knows... maybe player inginuity can make it look good.

At first i would like to say thank you to all of you,it was very kind from you to share your opinions on my questions.
Yeah i missed the uniform twice and i`m aware that nothing is granted,but your comments give me the hope to see these nice Discovery uniforms back in game in some way,could be in the Lobi store or in some other ways.
I guess there are other Trekkies fan that would also be more than glad to see them coming back.

I too came back after a long break... found they were offered but now they aren't. As a lifetime subscriber, it would be nice to maybe have a chance to get things like this via a terminal in the Captain's Table area or via Lobi or Costume package deal. Hope they come back soon.

I don't see them giving special treatment to lifers like that. While it would be a nice incentive to get lifer...

Sorry but its borderline entitlement. I may be a lifer myself now... but having spent most of my time as a F2Per... I guess I'm just used to seeing things from the field rather than on top of the castle so to speak.

Anyways... I guess we'll see what happens.

I tend to agree with you Corvus,as a lifetime subscriber i wish to have some extra possibilities in redeem something that we missed during some events,even so i would be more than glad of they will release again the Discovery uniforms even just for promotion.

This is actually a common thing at Cryptic, so there is a real chance that uniform will comback around.
