Tal'Kyr Support Craft (Broken)

Wish to report (if it hasn't already been reported), that the Tal'Kyr Support Craft is bugged and no longer fires on enemies at all. It also did not appear to heal my shields or perform any other action than follow me around presenting itself as a target.
Could we get a fix for the lack of any actions and a much needed buff for this most useless hanger pet in the game? A reduced time of deployment would be the bare minimum of a buff needed.
I really like the Vulcan Science Vessel, indeed it was one of the first ships I bought, but the hanger pet is a complete let down especially in its broken state.
