Bajor Defense Covariant Shield - No free upgrades to Mk 12

got Mk 10 shield, when I went to upgrade says no tech upgrade slotted. Same problem as last time, someone forgot to flag reward with free upgrades to Mk 12.

    Got the same exact problem with my Bajoran shield, it was originally Mk IV, tried to upgrade it to Mk VI, impossible (at least not free, didn't try to add upgrades to it, and for sure not planning to...)

    Can anybody take a look at that? Thanks in advance!

    It appears that today's patch has fixed this, as I have been able to upgrade mine freely
