No way to access episode "uneasy allies"

So, i recently re-installed STO. Before that i had unlocked ALL episodes so far in almost all my 24 characters. After reinstalled the game, i found out that it seems that everything i did was for nothing.. since i now have all episodes as if they were not completed. Well, thats one thing. The other thing...

I wanted to get the romulan navy set for my romulan boffs. Ok, so i know that now, because all my progress has been lost, i need to actually replay some episodes of the delta arc to the end to gain access again to "uneasy allies". Ok, patience, i guess.

Then, i see that apparently lol, i didnt even complete the kobali acts episodes, not even the first one.. oh my. Ok, more patience. I will start again.

And then i realized that after slotting the first act, and completed the first submission (the arc is compossed by 4 parts) "the cavaltry", i dont get any more points to advance. I dont have access to the next part anywhere, not from the consoles, not from the guy who gives em (the general located in the start point).

So, i cant progress through the delta arc, because of course i cant skip anything and basically i cant even do any episodes from there to almost future proof because everything is greyed out with no possibility to skip.

So, whats the deal??

Okay. Firstly, don't slot all the missions offered. Look at your journal to get the correct order in which to do the missions and only slot that one. The final one is triggered, sometimes by going into the first hidden base and speaking to the officer there.

Cryptic rejigged the Delta Arc because of the few complaints about the Patrol missions and it has been buggy because of it. It would've been better to have not touched them, after all, patrols are part and parcel of Military life, and those patrols had side-missions in them.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.

Kobali Prime has some glitches since Cryptic reworked the mission structure in the Delta Quadrant story arc early last year. I forgot what glitch I experienced last year (April??). I may have resolved it by repeating a mission.

I will be revisiting Kobali Prime with a new character "soon" because that character is currently in the middle of the Solanae Dyson Sphere story arc. But the 2108 Anniversary Event starts next Tuesday so knowing myself, I will be spending a lot of time grinding for Omega Particles and may not actually get to Kobali Prime on that character until February.

The RIN set is considered "unique" you cannot have more than 1 copy of the armor and shield. The only piece that you can have more than 1 copy of is the Kit Frame. I had the same idea you had when the mission was initially released. If you want a mission reward ground set for your Boffs, then I recommend you play "The Temporal Front" to get the Na'kuhl armor and shield. It is in the Future Proof story arc.

The 1st mission in the Future Proof story arc is "Sunrise", you should be able to play that mission as long as you are at least level 58 (the link below states level 60... I suppose it was never updated).

The Kobali missions were interrupted by missions in other systems, which originaly forced you to go to Kobali then leave for a patrol set of missions then go back to Kobali then leave then go back... etc. Maybe you are caught in one of those must leave Kobali to do a mission then go back to continue?

Oh well, there goes my idea of fiting my 2 rommies with that set... thanks for the reminder, i think i read about this ages ago, but i completely forgot.

The idea was to maximize plasma damage for my rommies. Since they are romulan, they have ground trait +plasma damage, and both have plasma weapons. With the set, i can increase even further that plasma damage as well in the secondary shot, if i remember right. It was just a question of taking advantaje of those factors. But if i can only slot 1 set.. it doesnt make any sense anymore. I think i will grab a herald kit with +plasma damage and call it a day.

There's the Kentari set from "MIrrors and Smoke". The two piece set gives the wearer +20% plasma damage. The shield has a 10% chance of giving a 20% plasma damage buff for 4 seconds when taking damage. If you upgrade the armor it will give a +40% critical severity bonus. The downside is the shield takes 6 seconds to recharge when not taking damage rather than the standard 3 seconds.

I have 2 Boffs (on separate characters) that has the Kentari armor and shield upgraded to ultra rare. It seems to work fine when tested extensively in the Voth Battlezone.

I too like plasma weapons which is why all my characters have the RIN Kit Frame the RIN armor for +50% secondary fire damage. The Plasma Wide Beam Rifle [upgraded to at least ultra rare] is pretty much standard issue for all characters and Boffs. Though my secondary weapon is usually a different type of energy weapon and some Boffs use a different energy weapon as well just for color variety.

I really dont care about the 6 second cooldown, i rarely die on ground and i usually dont need to replenish shields so often.

For normal difficulty and probably advanced; the 6 second delay is not a big deal. Though I think for Miner Instabilities Advance it would be. But for elite STF ground missions it does represent a handicap.

The plasma piercing beam rifle is decent alternative. The secondary fire mode can be devastating with up to 80% shield penetration especially when used in conjunction with the RIN armor which gives +50% secondary fire damage for energy weapons. However, it is a short range weapon because it has the same firing range as pistols; 25m instead 35m for the typical rifle.

I will pick up more Boolean Canons the next time there is a Lobi Store sale.

I went to Kobali Prime last night with my most recent character and I was able to complete "Kobali Crisis - Act I" without any issues. The bullet points of what I did to complete the first part of Act I, "The Cavalry", are as follows:

    - Spoke to General Q'Nel to begin the mission.
    - Went to the infirmary and spoke to 3 Kobalis.
    - Spoke with a newbie Kobali officer to "show him the ropes". My character's career is science so I went around scanning equipment.
    - Got hailed by Captain Harry Kim and went over to speak to him.
    - Went back to General Q'Nel to report in. At this point the city came under attack by the Vaadwaur.
    - Went to the city's entrance to kill all Vaadwaur invaders coming over the bridge.
    - Clicked the button to "Search for more Vaadwaur" (or something like that) to get a cut scene.
    - Got transported back to Q'Nel and spoke with him to complete "The Cavalry" and begin the next mission; "The Son".
