Also wondering where the patch notes are. Surely creating the patch takes a whole lot more time and effort than just writing a few details of what it was about, even if it may be server maintenance only.
There is a header in the game Launcher that says 'Release Notes'. If nothing is there, then there are no changes. It's not the end of the world for God's sake! Also, Kael posts a link to them everytime there is a patch.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
its funny when you patch it says check forums for info and nothing on forums, so should I check forums or not, they need to make up their minds.
From what I have seen, the forums they speak of tend to be the STO subreddit.

Well... as I apparently didn't have a patch today... I'm assumng it was just routine maintenance. Nothing actually fixed so... no need to even post patch notes when nothing got patched.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

But they still have their UTC time wrong on the launcher.
And? Does that 'wrong time' affect your ability to play the game?
Doesn't mean that it can't confuse some players, not everyone knows DST or follows it especially for those who don't follow it which if i am not mistaken, Arizona and Hawaii also don't follow it in the USA.
for some it can confuse them that they may take the UTC for what it is and end up getting confused on their daily schedule. Mistakes always happen so it is something of concern to get it right to lessen that impact and get everyone playing when it is advertised as such.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

Indeed, but UTC is also GMT, and the maintenance hit at the time indicated.

As for maint time, the time span of it is always posted on the launcher exactly the same. My time zone is exactly two hours later than the time on the launcher, so I rarely have trouble knowing when it is beginning or ending.
It's generally the same time, every time, with very few exceptions. Also, I'm one of those which time holds very little meaning when I'm going to play, so it's not that important that it be right on the nose.

They aren't very good at keeping up with communications, but Galactic News is the best place to roll your dice.
Most likely, this one is just maintenance
