So, I don't play the game via Steam (I just go through ARC), and I am wondering if I were to buy the bundle, does anyone know if I should easily be able to claim the TOS duty officer pack without difficulty? I am not clear on this, and would appreciate any insight. Thanks!
JD
You get the code and enter it on the Arc website, and claim them via Promo tab in C-Store.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
ah, ok i see it's a buy a pacjage and get all the games within thing.. if you are going to PLAY those games, it should be fine but you will ahve to install steam you should get a redemption code for arc, or possibky the TOS boffs just enable. I've never had an issue going cross platform (steam/ arc)
BTW, the only useful BOFFS IMHO are Spock Uhura and Scotty
Are these the same BOFFs as those found in the Temporal mega pack?
No. These are the holographic bridge officers that were being given away at conventions around the time AoY released.
I just opened the boff pack from the Temporal Pack and they're all holograms. Sadly you can't alter their clothing, I wanted Chekov in a black suit to match Alfred Bester.
The total exclusion & bias treatment cryptic has for the most important character in the original series is a deal breaker for me. No Captain Kirk no money from me!

Cryptic doesn't have enough money to put kirk in that pack, maybe if they save up all profits for a couple of years...
I don't have much experience with Humble Bundle, but I am interested in getting the TOS BOff package. If I'm reading the link correctly, though, it's less 'pay what I want' and more 'pay at least $35' for that particular reward. I'm not questioning the value of the bundle--I recognize the BOffs are only a small part of a large bundle--but I don't really want to drop $35 on it. If I actually pay what I want (and I am a cheapskate), do I still get the BOffs (and, I suppose, other stuff in the Bundle), or do I have to pay at least $35 for them?

Thanks for the feedback.
You have to plunk down at least $35. You could plunk down more than that, y'know, for charity. Some folks do. But it's at least $35 to get the BOFFs and all the other things.

Thanks for clearing that up (and to Baddmoonrizin for pointing me here). And I'm all for giving to charity, but a very limited budget is part of why I play STO, where almost everything can be had--eventually--with in-game currency.

I hear you. In all honesty, I have to take a pass on the bundle because I just don't have the money to spare for it. If I did, I would. But then, there's a few things on there that I'd be playing besides just the BOFF pack.

Vetteguy, I am not interested in playing any of the other games from Steam at this time, but I guess it will be nice to have that option. Thanks!
