I'm glad you like it! I'm working today but will be buying the Tucker class probably first thing in the morning.

I know how you feel I finished working in time to be there when the servers came back up, but my power went out and stayed out for several hours...and now I'm back at work.

Also...you're going to break the set.
I know, I'm actually temped to buy at least the Fed 3-pack, because the console on the Science version looks like the best of the three. But I rarely actually use more than one of any set, so I usually stick with the one I'll use the most. Also the trait on the Tucker looks awesome.

I'll wait until it goes on sale. Hopefully by then there will be a Zen sale.
Still got other ships on my buy list though...
Just a note, they are currently on sale. 2500Z for one, 5000Z for faction three-pack, 10000Z for all nine ships (instead of 3k, 6k, 12k.) Though, Black Friday might be a bigger discount.

I like the Ops trait I'll get good use of it. The Sci trait I might play around with. The Sci is definitely the best console, I'll get some use out of it.
The Tucker has the most usable setup console and station wise of the Fed ships though, not to mention the sleekest looks.

Thanks, but I have been neglecting getting new escorts for sometime now so that will be my next purchase. Got Zen for those ships, but need more Zen for others. Maybe they will have a nice discount in the Arc Store that's better than the potential Black Friday sale.

I seriously considered the Daystrom because of the console. I just don't like lt Commander on a cruiser for some reason.
However, I didn't expect them to be on sale. I might actually do the three pack at that price. I was also saving for a new escort for my Gorn tac, but maybe I'll wait a little longer.

I got the full nine pack, I quite like the Romulan designs the most, the KDF and Fed designs are pretty even in liking them.
My romulan ship design set-up is as fallows for ship looks. THe hull is from the Nijil design, while I use the Varel design for the utility pods an bridge, and for the wings I use the Tabok design.
Also, I would like to understand...how are you using this ship? You "are loving this thing" because I can do _____ with it in _____ ways other ships can not.

The Tucker class has pretty much made my Endeavour class flagship obsolete and that makes me a little sad, I really liked the Endeavour's design more and would've liked to see it in a four nacelle version as the actual Tucker class instead. It's not that I don't like the Tucker's design though, but I did use the more spread out pylons of one of the other ships in the pack and nacelles.
My scimitar also easily survives those runs but doing more then 200x more DPS then your ship is showing in your YT movie. Where your damage numbers show 100-200 mine show over 20000-40000
Building a tank that hardly does damage is not that special, in my opinion.

The Innovation mechanic is fun as hell. The Forrest Gump, "Never know what you're gonna get" nature of it is fun too. Both the activation and the cooldown are faster than Command, and it feels like the ship is in a perpetual state of some kind of buff.

Well, considering it was the first run out of the box and my goal wasn't to duplicate EXACTLY the same dps build on my other 5 ships...I think it did well. My goal was to test the MW abilities from officers and such. This video wasn't a build tutorial...
Besides, I took 60% of the incoming damage in the STF and still put down 25% of the damage... I would say holding aggro and keeping the dps off the team idea did well,...
Well getting aggro and 60% of the incomming damage while showing numbers beteen 100-200 per shot (in your YT movie) only tells me that you must have been in a very weak group.
If you would have had a real DPS-er beside you in the run, doing like 200x more DPS, running damage shots over 20000 per shot, the real-DPS would get the aggro.
Every real DPS-er who has done PUG runs with others doing far less DPS know this and will agree with me. Because they evaluatie combat logs and statistics. You can evn put thread+ consuiles on a weak schip still the High DPS-er will get most of the aggro and incomming damage.
For sure you can tank nicely in these new ships, And it will take ages till things get killed on elite levels. Try DGE in a team with ships like you all will survive but dont get it done before the timer runs out.
C-Store T6 Ship introduction are either at T5 prices the first Weekend 2500, 5000, 10000) unless there is a 20% Ship Sale for that Weekend, then 2400, 4800, 9600. As the sun rises everyday.

Well, those ships grow on me, I got the mega-bundle, I like them, even the Federation one, once in game, it looks great with some kitbashing, and they are quite sturdy... so, no regrets!

Sigh... look...the point wasn't about DPS... Was just a little fun vid that had to do with my thread. I would suggest getting yourself a Command version and posting your own video with your dps build..until then... all I hear is blah blah your dps sucks, doesn't matter what you were doing in the vid, I don't even own one of these ships, yadda yadda. Just saying... If you want to talk meta then go do it...
I might look into the Klingon ships, i will be honest i don't like the look of the federation ships so much so i'm not looking at them at all, the romulan ships are just "meh" in reaction.
For now i need to gather Zen which will take a while from the stipend.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

Well at the cost of doing DPS.

Obviously everyone is different, but they are actually growing on me. In game, they look much better than the pictures we saw at the beginning.
