Yes...same here. Wait 1-2 min for a CCA to start, mysteriously get silent kicked from que...re-que and wait another 1-2 min for the que to start... then the wonderful map change for the que to start... aaaand crash to desktop. For me, it happened yesterday on 6 of 14 characters I played, so just under 50% game crash to desktop. The mechanic is better than previous versions. I am able to log in again and complete the que without AFK penalties. On previous releases, I had to reboot my computer, so when I log back into the game it's to a finished que with no mark rewards - with the cool down wait.
This is a server issue. It's not a compatibility one. This happens on map changes, as you are changing servers. The crashing, or DCing is related to that. This is more of a "connection timed out" error. Which means this isn't on Cryptic, but more on the server provider of Congent.
I've had this happen on episodes, deep space encounters, and patrols, as well as queues.
Have had no crashes and my laptop is still in one piece.

Some players are reporting a temporary workaround that seems to be working for me. After you hit the "Join Selected Queues" button, close the "Queues" window/dialog box. (To avoid the annoying message about if you want to leave the queue or something to that effect, close the Queues window before the boatswain whistle sound and the accept/decline window come up.)
This is getting out of hand, I'm especially directed to my desktop without rhyme or reason when I do any of the Red Alerts, except for the Tholian one.
