Yes, yes, nice to see more info on what is to come, T6 stats, blah blah blah.
The only thing I came to see was if the Lukari N'kaam Scout Ship can be upgraded to T5-U? That is the only thing I'm interested in learning here and I still don't know. Gimme my INFO!
On a serious note, the Tzenkethi ships sure do look nice. I wouldn't mind getting either of them.
Hello. My name is iamynaught and I am an altaholic.
So the first ships with a new Specialization are Lockbox and Lobi ships?
And now T5 Ships dropping don't have an upgrade option to T5U, or just another oversight?

I'd rather hear about the Miracle Worker spec ships.
I have a feeling (like the pilot ships before) that we are gonna be waiting a while for those. A few weeks at least, is my guess.
THAT said. .... I'm disappointed they are going Lock Box route for the MW ships. For me, that means they can keep these ships with me not spending a drop on them.
They said later. I guess it was more important to get the ones out that would bring the greatest return.

Nothing new on the first one. Command and Pilot didn't have C-Store ships with specialist seats for a couple of weeks or so after they went live, but the Lockbox/Lobi ships released alongside them had those seats. Astika for Command and Olaen for Pilot were the only options those first 2 weeks or so, or until you finished the Samsar project for Command.

Anyone else disappointed in them for this move?
Kind of difficult to be disappointed now when they've done the same thing twice before. People have short memories.
This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

The Tzenkethi ships both seem well designed with an intimidating appearance backed-up with decent to good: statistics, weapon layouts BOFFs, & consoles.
The only possible negative I thought was the battlecruiser's 44K hull seemed a bit anemic especially for a battlecruiser, but both Tzenkethi ships have strong shields.
The Lukari ship seems well enough for a T5, but the saving-grace there is that it's skin will transfer to the T6 Ho'kuun.
Did I miss it or already forgot ??? Is there a Tzenkethi 2-console set bonus?
The rest of the lock box contents seem same ol' same ol' to me, there's good & bad, just with a newest shiny paint job except the tossing in brand new aesthetic-only items now.
I stopped reading right there. That's all I needed to see. Don't care about stats at T5-U. Thank you for the information. Everyone can go home now, nothing left to see here. Move along.

Actually, no, I'm not disappointed. I actually expected it.
New spec usually means new spec based ships. And since this spec is being released on the same day as a new lockbox, which is fairly normal, why would they cut into their lockbox/key sales by adding the new spec ships to the CStore?
It can be argued that they'd make more money if they went that route, but since I have no idea on how many CStore ships they sell compared to how many keys are sold, it'd be all speculation either way. By staggering out the lockbox ships and the CStore ships, they can 'maximize' their sales.
I personally don't bother with "top tier" lockbox or Lobi ships since they aren't account unlocks. All this does is allow me to save up more resources so that when the CStore Miracle Worker ships do hit, I can afford them. If I like them well enough, of course.

So, question on making NPC ships curl up into balls and whimper - symmetry applies shield drain effects near shield heals - does that function with https://sto.gamepedia.com/Trait:_Improved_Tachyon_Beam because that would be hilarious.

I'm liking the 'Scout Ship' concept, even if i'm sure a lot of players will be put off by the 3/2 weapon arrangement. Can't help but wonder if this is a test-run for the potential T6 Oberth that was suggested a few live streams ago? Can we hope for other faction-specific Scouts to be rolled out in future?
Iconians have long lives, and long memories. So does anyone else remember the last ship design competition? Does anyone else notice the remarkable similarity these new ships have to those designs that did not win? Waste not, Want not.
I kind of wish they would make the T5 Lukari visual already unlocked for the T6 like for example how the Keldon already has access to the Galor visual without the need to buy the Galor.
Is it an oversight that there is no set bonus for the consoles or is it supposed to be that way? Just asking because I don't remember there ever not being one for lockbox and lobi ships of the same "breed".

Any word on whether the t5 Lukari ship can be upgraded to t5u, and if so what the stat improvements might be?
Hopefully there'll be more scoutships in the future (all factions would have one version at least)

I'm sorry, but that Escort looks ridiculously huge. I won't buy one that way.
Cryptic please leave that size as an option, it's the only way I'll be interested in buying that ship.
today patch : Resolved an issue that caused the Tzenkethi Shuk-din Escort to appear larger than intended in system space.
