The singularity core disappears from the list after first play. If you are a romulan and you want to complete the mission twice, you will get the same item as reward.

What a lot of self-congratulatory bragging...from the NPC's and (indirectly) the Devs. Half the dialogue before the action starts is Kuumaarke and Geordie (and, by extension, the Devs who REALLY built this colony) going, "Ooh, isn't the colony beautiful? Didn't we do a great job here? Look at the scenery! We have potted plants! We rock! Pet us! Worship us! Look on our works, ye mighty and despair!"
Seriously, guys, try writing stories where people talk to the protagonist...the PLAYER CHARACTER. Watching NPC's chat with each other and pat each others' backs is a waste of time...especially since your reward system makes us play each episode 4 times per character. Either cut the repetition or improve the writing quality - or, ideally, do both.
It's especially annoying when the PC is by far the most senior officer there, outranking both Guest Stars by multiple ranks, yet treated by both as an errand boy. After the initial deployment of these episodes (where Level 10 people can play), these things get shunted to endgame. Everyone is a Fleet Admiral or Dahar Master at that point, and these two people are captains. Having them tell a Fleet Admiral to do things, is like having a Branch Manager of a convenience store order the CEO of the chain to go take inventory on a Sunday night, and to mop the place when he's done.
Don't believe me? Try this fun experiment: get whoever writes your dialogue to order the CEO of Perfect World to go personally clean the restroom. Have him or her repeat that order once a week for 4 weeks. See how long that writer lasts. That's how your dialogue sounds when Captains give Fleet Admirals orders.
There were some good points:
1) At least both main voice actors are good this time.
2) Once the action starts, the plot advancement is good.
3) The environments ARE lovely, we just don't need 10 minutes of Geordie and Kuumaarke stroking the art department over it. Let the work speak for itself.
4) No Sela or Tovan Khev.
As for the set itself, it could be an alternative to the Krenim Temporal Manipulation and Sol Defense sets for a cannon-flavored variant of Timberwolf's tetryon-escort build (he put it together to show off the Xyfius, but it's easy enough to translate elsewhere).

Well I have certainly enjoyed the bugs this go around. I mean, that escort scaled so large and stuck at DS9 was flippin hilarious. And to see a universe class stuck in its side was icing on the cake. Got a really good laugh at that!
No free upgrades with Singularity Core... I am lvl 57 and when I finished the core was only Mk XI... so I went to upgrade it and it says "no tech upgrade slotted". normally these episode even rewards have free upgrades to Mk XII (12). seems someone forgot to flag these... please fix. Hope I dont need to rerun this mission for the correct MKs lvls... frankly I dont see why when the mission level requirement is L45 or player is L45+ you dont just give out Mk 12s.
Just think about those Level 10s running this Episode.

For a minute I felt like I was in a Space Quest episode, I was waiting for a bad pun or spit take before the next cut.
