New charcter unable to send mail attachment

My new ferengi character that is now level 11 is unable to send mail attachments. I just tried the for the first time with the charcter to send at attachment. It won't send anything. I switched characters to make sure the mail system was working ok and my other characters work fine. I bought several bridge officers from a different character and had them as an attachment in the mail. When I took them out with this character that worked fine but I need to put the extras back in the mail and you can not put them in your account bank. I tried simple food items to make sure it was not just the item and nothing works.

    Just made a brand new toon. Another Ferengi science toon. I skipped the tutorial and tried to send a hypo spray and nothing happens. So it appears to be something with a new toon Ferengi science at least. Try to send something in mail and the box just closes nothing happens.

    Ok just made an alien science toon with same results can not send attachments

    Ok more information I can send attachments just not to my own account with new toons. So I am back to my original problems I first reported.

    Did you check if you exceeded your mail limit?

    Yes only have 8 items in the mail

    Well by putting myself into a fleet it fixed my mail issue. Should not have to do that but it worked.

    I have a LTS and I just found out I have a limit of 5 messages that are not system generated. When did this happen? I'm amazed... I tried to email a bunch of DOFF to myself for some fleet projects...

    They have had a limit for a few years because people were storing stuff in the mail system. Only guessing to make you buy more slots. But the limit should be Excluding mails from game services (like the exchange), players will receive a full mail message if they have more than 200 emails in their inbox nor 20 emails with an item attachment.
