If had to choose between those three I think Bort is alright for the most part sometimes.

    I concur.

I wanted to write a list about plenty of things Bort has totally done wrong or has failed to do, but I'll cut him some slack, given how this isn't the topic of the thread anyway.
However, trust me on this, if there's anyone in dev team who knows how the game works and also has a clue about player expectations, it's Sparty. You know, the dev who actually was an actual STO player. Others seem to play completely different STO than us players.

Isn't he the one behind the awful nerf patch?

    He is.

While I can't be sure who exactly changed what in codes, Bort is Spartan's boss, so that's where the overall "nerfing" direction came. And really, I've talked to Sparty, he is a nice and reasonable guy, who also knows formulas/mechanics behind the game at least as well as r/stobuilds experts. Not so sure I can say I have as warm feelings towards Bort "players overestimate how much threatscaling affects moment to moment combat" icus.

Just a quick question. When I have all the traits unlocked, are they active? Or do I have to slot the fifth trait in my ship traits bar? Those first four are active, do they?

For KDF and Romulan allies, I think the Empire defence missions are fine for leveling a ship. I do not just kill 6 ships, but clear a whole map. It seems to me the ships respawn at some moment.

Tau Dewa patrols are also good, but I do not like it when Shon or Koren show up. They steal your kills. Recently I had Koren back me up three times in a row ... lucky me.

You have to slot a 5th ship trait, when you unlocked the aditional slot in fleet lab, exactly the same way as the other 4 in order to become active.

From that defeat no enemy can ever recover. That is the meaning of victory."

Argala, go to the 4th wave and leave before doing the 5th. Then just jump right back in. Rinse and repeat. Mastery should be account wide. >.> I own the damn ship, give me the trait on alts.

Now we have let slip our little SSM levelling tricks slip, expect leaving a patrol before completion to be hit with a leavers penalty like a stf to stop xp farming lol.

When Shon/Koren show up, they're considered your pets, so their kills should be attributed to you.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

They need to add a flat rate to episodes and STFs. 500-1000 per plus what you kill in said events.

I'm starting to heavily favor the idea of a Starship Mastery token, even if it's a lock box item.

I was at work last night, bored.. surfing the internet.. decided to plan out a new build for one of my alts. Get home, all anxious to try what I have planned out, but as always.. one of the traits I planned to use to make the build work wasn't unlocked on that character..

And it was off to spend 30 minutes in Argala doing wave after wave.. after wave..

      I honestly hate Starship Mastery.
