Still don't understand what's driving the Tzenkethi to drop protomatter bombs all over the place. We should start to think about taking the war to the Tzenkethi rather than holding the Lukari's hands while they play "let's explore the galaxy." If the Tzenkethi want to fight and continue to drop protomatter seemingly at random, then reap the whirlwind. They'll be quick to explain their actions when their forces are in full retreat. It'll bring about the end of the mystery.
The areas the Lukari are exploring are close to or right at where the drops are happening. They also apparently able to reliably manipulate protomatter, so that becomes important potentially in figuring out the bombs and whatnot. That's why they're involved, really.
The mystery is the crystals, and what they do that make the Tzenkethi want to destroy them. Wonder if its related to that "new power source" the Kentari were announcing they'd discovered in one of the 'media outlet' terminals on the mission. If it uses those crystals (and it might be, since the Tzenkethi came and protomattered their moon), well, it might be the golden opportunity to figure it out.
"The media were eating up the exploits of Captain Kuumaarke. They absolutely adored her and were doing all they could to make the rest of the planet love her too."
Since when were the Kentari ever concerned about what they thought was fake news?

Man, breathe guys, you just met after generations. I understand the symbolism and why it's important, and why the Kentari need it, but I think the Lukari/Kentari 'hat' may be 'pursue latest endeavor with maximum energy'.

“Hopefully the news of new jobs will alleviate some of the hostility out there. The latest protests are starting to get ugly. In fact, you’ll need to leave via the secure exit today.”
I suspect the problems are deeper than that. The vocal population seems to be traditionalist aligned and with the General known to be using the Tzenkethi as muscle against the reformists it's looking more like the Lukari have walked into the middle of a civil war brewing. I can't help but wonder what the Lukari's interest here is, surely they're not doing all this out of the goodness of their hearts- the Kentari exiled THEM.
Smells too convenient that the Tzenkethi start dropping protomatter bombs just as the Lukari show up, and they just happen to be protomatter specialists. It's more likely the Lukari want something the Kentari have, and all this smoke show with the Tzenkethi and the federation is to hide something the Lukari don't want seen until it's time to wipe out the Kentari and making it look like the Tzenkethi did it.

It would actually be one hell of a twist if it turned out the Lukari were villainous this whole time, but I sincerely doubt that will end up being the case.
Us being at New Kentar right as the Tzenkethi decide to protomatter bomb their moon isn't any more of coincidence then when any of the starships from the shows came across new species that also just so happened to be in the middle of some sort of culture-challenging crisis.
"There will never be enough blood to wash away my need for vengeance! A single world...I could destroy a million worlds and it would not be enough! Your existence is an insult to the memory of my people! I will continue my fight, even if I must fight alone!"
Didn't the Kentari build an artificial nebula in order to stay hidden? Maybe I am getting my stories crossed, but if that is the case, isn't it well within the people's cultural development to intentionally avoid interstellar relations? The mission and this blog post tend to indicate that is the majority opinion, at the very least. If so, wouldn't Lukari intervention be in opposition to the Federation ideals of non-interference?
The Lukari are turning into Mary Sues. "We super ecological space hippies can do anything with space magic! Aren't we so wonderful and politically correct? How did anyone in the universe manage without us?"

yeah .... the Tzenkathi are a problem we need to deal with. Let the Lukari play with the Kentari.
Tbh this is starting to get the "iconian war" style of treatment more than likely it will end with a dues ex machina plot device to solve the whole thing ...war indeed more like minor skirmash while we play babysitters t the lukari and kentari.
I would like to see more like this from our players respective governments point of view instead. The Federation Council would likely be in furious debates over meddling in the affairs of non-Federation worlds and whether or not the Prime Directive is being followed. The Republic and Klingon High Council would probably not even get involved at all. Just my opinions and thoughts.
