Hi,
I have a huge problem with constant ~5 second freezing during PvE matches and it's bothering me to death. For example- crystalline catastrophe pve queue that is usually completed in 3 minutes, freezing can occure minimum 1 time and max 5. It feels like i haven't got through single queue without it happening. To me, that sounds like MAJOR bug that should be fixed as soon as possible.
Is there ANY information from developers when this will be fixed?

    It happens to meet too, but not just for pve but also space battles in general.

    Same Problem here, get a horrible audio noise with it too.

    Yeah, in general also, but most time i am in pve so...i forgot...

    Audio stuttering is almost even worse than the freeze itself. Through receiver all surround speakers go crazy on my ear.

    It was fine for me earlier today. But now the servers are down and I can't play. :(

    When it's happens to me, my dog and cats all freak out and end up locked in a space battle of their own. That audio shudder that goes along with it when piped through 11 speakers and 1600watts is worse than a Romulan mind probe.

    Same. Always when flying into a combat situation against other ships. When frozen, it plays a constant audio sound so bad that I fear my tv speakers are going to break.
    This is ruining gameplay and if my speakers pop arc games you are getting the repair bill..

    This started happening chronically for me around the time Agents was released -- The action freezes for about 3 seconds, accompanied by a horrendous "BRRR" sound, then the action unfreezes. Happens mostly in STFs but can occur when solo. To me it seems a graphical issue rather than a latency issue. It's really the noise that's the killer.

    I've had it happen on other games both on PC and XB. It's a graphics overload, that 5sec is usually what it takes to clear the buffer. Too many objects for the engine to handle. I'm not sure when it was added to the game either, since I left for a year (maybe two?) and it was here when I got back into STO again. Most of my fleet mates from PC refer to it as a memory leak, though my technical expertise is fairly lacking and I don't know that term...

    Yep, happening to me too. I agree, it happened a few months back, although I cannot remember the exact date. I also play this on PS4 Pro and do not experience this at all on that console.
