Polaron Covert Ops Pistol is underpowered?

So just got the pistol from Survivor and its DPS is less than half that of all other weapons, is this WAI or a bug?

    Same for me... at MK XII the DPS of the Polaron Covert-Ops Compression Pistol is ridiculously low at 56.3. In comparison I have Thoron infused Dual Pistols at MK XII where the DPS is more than 150...

    It is a joke of a weapon, because unless you are shooting something "from Behind" and "while Stealth", you are not getting any realistic damage out of it.

    Which is the point. It is what you are supposed to do with this weapon.
