Tzenkethi Physiology

Has there been any more detailed information released since the original article on species design or their homeworld? Things like height, weight, and organs and metabolic information? Visually they are huge and bulky but it seems there is little in they way of specific lore to be found.

They are reptilian, so they could either be cold blooded, or medium blooded as recent revelations now suggest dinosaurs were. Clearly they must be tremendously heavy creatures by the nature of their feet design. They have the near-ungulate feet type of large terrestrial animals like elephants and sauropod dinosaurs. They have massive toe-nails and huge shock absorbing pads of dense cartilage to distribute weigh even though they walk on their toes.

Do they have live births? Are they hatched from eggs?
What is their world like? Is it warm, humid, heavy foliage world like ours was during the late cretaceous period? What is the fauna or their world like and how did a species such as theirs become the apex life form?

I hope as we continue along with their story we get some of this. I would appreciate if there is anything along those lines already out that I missed and someone would point to it.

star trek itself rarely reveals anything about alien biology unless it's needed for plot-advancement - don't expect a game that is only slightly more complex than an arcade-level shooter to do better

Simply looking at their size makes me think their planet would be high gravity, forcing lifeforms to have higher muscular and bone mass than those of low grav planets.

Our own world has allowed for the existence of dinosaurs like the Argentinosaurus that have bumped up against the 80-100 ton range and it seems like there are bigger specimens still being found. So our own gravity allows for some impressive terrestrial creatures.

Just looking at the feet design alone, the Tzenkethi were clearly very heavy creatures as their feet are very similar to what you find in elephants and sauropod dinosaurs. Given that these creatures exist in earth normal gravity it would be hard to determine Tzenketh's gravity.

There is plenty of lore on the more established species rooted in Trek Canon, Trek RPG's, etc. I would love if STO could offer us some on things developed in game like the Tzenkethi.
