Fun episode, only let down by the rewards. As a ground set, it's only really useful for stealth characters, the set bonuses have limited niche applicability and polaron? Should have been plasma, in keeping with the romulan flavour.

Can somebody please mention the ground map? Because that isn't a step in the right direction, but a leap. Already the last one was great, but this one is beautiful as hell for starters, and the temporal effects are a very nice touch.

As mentioned in another thread, storywise it is a bit in limbo where it belongs, but then again the "puzzle" parts are nice while not too obtrusive and not relying on the same old minigame.

Gameplay wise it is okay, too. I only wish my boffs would realize that throwing it all at some spiders where a single shot would suffice is a bit of overkill.

I absolutely loved that ground map, just as in the last episode. Atmospheric and really well detailed!! I was in wonderland all the way through.

And yes, 'he' was the only character in TNG to hold a holo-image of Tasha, and it makes logical sense that Sela would ask the person who was closest to Tasha.

This mission was infinitely better than the last! I'm afraid the last one barely felt more in depth than a rookie foundry mission, much as I hate to say it, no offense to anyone that liked it, but it just didn't grab interest. This one however, felt so much more meaningful!

Nothing says they couldn't have been found at some point "off screen" as it were. It'll probably get explained in a future episode as they might be waiting to see if they can get Spiner to do some VA.

The ENT-E is not missing, it was destroyed by the Undine.

    Cryptic revealed this YEARS ago.

It boggles the mind how some people don't know this.

Because we don't keep up with every single piece of lore that comes out if we took a break? Also probably because we have self entitled "masters" of said lore like you to point out in a pompous and self important way that we don't know near enough about every minutia and will be more than willing to spout everything off that we don't know?

The lukari ground map had the old sto classic of single track path yet we need to scan to figure out they which way they went, sadly this one does the same but to make it worse they have footprints to follow.

Other than that it had some ok ideas and pretty nice anomaly visuals.

^ This, except that I think it likely that we may see future episodes and Dev fiction bringing Sela, the Tzenkethi and perhaps even K-13 closer together to explain several anomalies at once. OK, so I'm an optimist, but the current episode is one of the best under current management at Cryptic!
