    Fun to read. Very nice story blog. Always love to read these short stories from crewmens point of view.

    But minor confusion.
    I seem to recall reading somewhere that Caitians can't tolerate alcohol.

    There's nothing set in canon hard or soft about that. Alot of fan groups tend to treat Caitians/Ferasans akin to earth cats who can't handle the stuff. At least Kyona's not snorting Nepeta.

    I seem to recall reading somewhere that Caitians can't tolerate alcohol.
    I saw nothing referring to this in Memory Alpha or Beta. Perhaps it's a fan interpretation or from a novel Cryptic decided to make non-"canon" for the game. Or Kyona pumped herself with an anti-alcoholic chemical beforehand. Kinda like how Malcolm Reed was allergic to, but loved, pineapple.

    Very nice story, I liked it myself, simple yet about one of the greatest events that lead to StarFleet. As for the Caitians, I know very little to nothing about them, time to read up. Thanks.

    Well, I enjoyed it, a lot!

    I will second the request of several forumites that these stories be collected and made available in-game on a PADD or something. It IS unfortunate that only those of us here get to read them.

    @bubbahotep: Did you know that "hotep" in ancient Egyptian translates to "is pleased"? The pharaoh names Amenhotep, Manuhotep, etc., meant that a certain god (Amen, Manu, et al) was pleased. So yours would mean literally, "Bubba is pleased". And, yes, I am also aware of the reference to the mummy in the Bruce Campbell movie. Fun movie. :smile:

    I loved the story :) I love many of the side stories you guys do. I wish I could find more stuff like this in the foundry or in the main missions.

    Just got my Rocket Launch pet, luv it!.....BUT, why can it ONLY be used inside a space station? Worked fine in DS9, but its greyed out on Risa?
    Remember, getting mad at me and taking it out on your keyboard.... just means you need a new keyboard ;)

    Risa prevents the use of certain abilities, chances are the rocket counts as one.
