I opened 250+ packs and didn't get one single ultra rare/epic token... I wish I got the Kobali Samsar starship for the last Kobali set piece... It actually made me cry

good to see this EVENT resurface, wasn't expecting it to reappear so soon and certainly wasn't expecting the free daily box.
all of those doubting thomases out there who said it wouldn't be back and was a one off EVENT can eat their words.
Aye still no its a faaaaake as well and surprisingly they didnt add in the vorgon boat. Not having the starship polycom i can see cuz its just past the event.
Just because they have former promo duty officer prize ships in the pack, you automatically call the box faaaake because they need to keep the rarity of those ships high? I look at it as a way for people to grab more of the stuff they might want the most, which would be the upgrades.
also expect around six months to a year after the events before the item from those events are added, don't expect cryptic to make them available in phoenix boxes too soon.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
Sun. who that guy on GIF, look familar, forget his name, was he on comedy show?
by the way, all i just want is a Jem'haddar ship, only one is missing, i have all others, didnt want getting extras if they are bound to character. are they able to sell on exchange? it been awhile, been out without vidcard for 2 months, mine died, but cant wait for my new first barebone made PC, my nephew said it will be ready by end of next week.
(decided to get new PC since i still hear noise that sound like someone was drilling instead of ordering new card).
It's a surprise that they've done this, you'd expect they'd have held off until the dil-to-zen exchange rate had climbed closer to its pre-phoenix levels before doing this. Still it makes buying Zen far easier!
I have over a hundred Salvaged Tech accumulated from admiralty missions, unless I sell on the exchange I'm inevitably going to have to spend dil to consume them!
Really (pleasantly) surprised these packs returned so soon. I got my Absorption Maxtrix now, for my alt, and the Red Capacitor. Oh, and 700 new shiny Phoenix Upgrade tokens, all ready to be used come March 17.

Picked up the Absorption Maxtrix for my AP tac Romulan as well. Nice having about 6 AP damage boosting consoles on a scimy.
I got all the items I wanted already in winter (except for a ship - those UR/Epics are really ultra rare...), but the upgrade packs are still tasty, so...
I'm not at all fussed about the Epic ships as I already have them, the only ships I don't have are the UR Attack Ship and the Bulwark Dreadnought.
As for other stuff, is the Red Matter Capacitor worth grabbing? Improved power for 20 sec +restore systems vs 3 minute cooldown; the tribbles seem like they might prove useful for ground combat, though that's hardly a priority right now.
I have the Red Matter Capacitor and Defense Battery as Legacy Unlocks in the C-Store so I didn't need them. I had all the Epic Ships already unlocked on the Account. The last time, I got an Epic Token that I cashed in for 2 URs and picked up a Bulwark and JHAS.
The last time I filled in for Characters with Doffs, ZC Shotgun, and the Console. All Characters received the Tribbles. No pets, and certainly nothing that is consumed

didn't use any dilithium this time around as I have everything I want from what is available at present and still have loads of the upgrades from the last event yet to be used but whether you spend dilithium on these boxes or not it was worth it just for the free daily box, lets hope that is a regular feature of this event.

I got my first very rare box this weekend and snarfed the RMC for my main. Equipment for a ship's device slots that aren't consumed on use are pretty rare and I'd use the extra power more often than the other non-consumable devices I have: pirate call & temporal negotiator (both with comparable cooldowns). I'm just going to consider it an all purpose battery that will never run out.

The battery DOFFs work on it, so treating it like a rechargeable battery (keeping it running as long and as often as possible during combat) is the best way to go about it.

Don't waste a device slot on the pirate call. You can use it directly from your inventory.
Any idea how long these are going to be around for? I'm itching to get the Risian Corvette, but I can't trade Zen for dilithium on the exchange at the moment (bought zen on stem, got put on probation for it evidently, no real dilithium reserves as a new player of a month or so) - it'd be nice to know I've got a little time to take a shot at getting an ultra rare.

At least the Phoenix upgrades are as good as they are!
