Environment suits?

Is there any point of having more than 1 environmental suits or they are a waste of space?
I got them from the first chapter of quests.

You need 5 for the final mission of the Romulan reputation, and 3 or 5 for some other missions in hostile environments.

There isn't any point in keeping the white common ones, but save the 5 best ones you get from doing the Romulan reputation.

You also need 1 of them for the optional ground missions on Nukara Prime.

From the Nakura Reputation you mean.

Yeah. Sometimes you need one for yourself and one for each of your away team when you're going into a hostile environment during missions. I have five of the Lifer EV suits I keep in my inventory for just such occasions.

Otherwise, you only need one for yourself to do mining on the free mining asteroid or fleet mine.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

I keep a few on hand just in case. You never know if cryptic is going to add a mission where you need environmental suits. Fairly recently there was that one with kal dano and tholians.

On the current Character I am playing I have a TOS Environment Suit, some LTS Environment Suits, some Nakura Reputation Level-up Suits, and the Starfleet Experimental Environmental Suit.

When I get around to doing 'A Step Between the Stars' there will be three (then one) of that as well.

D'oh! Right, you get them from the Nukara rep then use them on Nukara (optional) and New Romulus (power core) and misc. story episodes.

I just have one EV suit for my captain. If I need EV suits for my Boffs (like for the New Republic rep mission) I would simply buy 'em from the Exchange since they are cheap. Afterwards, I just sell 'em.

Since I got the AoY bundle, I got access to the special purple quality TOS space suit, so I often use those.
Also, I use the reputation suits, like in Nukara, for my Boffs.

I just keep space suit armors on my boffs and myself. You never know when you'll need em and frankly they're good enough to do most things making regular armor kind of pointless. Grab as many solenee suits as you can from the dyson mission and you'll have decent armor and environment protection for everyone.

No, you don't need to keep any spare suits. Most of the time, if you need suits for boffs, the mission will give you some for free.

The Romulan rep T5 mission is probably the only exception. Just get free suits for that by running it after some mission that gives a set of suits like Stormbound.

don't buy the suits...there are 3 from a dyson mission, and each box from the nukara reputation can have quite nice ones like 5% crtH and 40% crtD combo. takes longer, but well worth it for your Boffs and your toon.
    Go pro or go home

Then there are the crazy people that don't mind spending hundreds of thousands of Dilithium to get a fancy colored cr*ppy Environment Suit from the Dilithium Store. :)

green-quality armor sells for next to nothing on the exchange. Spending dil for a suit is SPACE MADNESS!

Here's some insanity... I have the best of the Dyson and Nukara suits, one for each of my Boff's, all (18) of them. :#
Mostly for RP. They have slightly different apperances which I use to ID the dept. (Tac/Sci/Eng/Med).

Personally, I keep 5 of the Solanae Marksman Environmental Suits from the "A Step Between Stars" mission. They come in handy for some mission replays and possibly some future content.

Until you get to the Step Between Stars mission, use whatever you come across. Once you get to it, there really is no need to get any other suit unless you're RP'ing or collect items from thew Lobi store.

I keep some Solanae EV suits in my inventory just in case Cryptic makes some other mission that requires them. With the player generated content, some of the Foundry missions require EV suits to complete.

If you have photonic officers in your away team, you don't need to get suits for them, they don't need them.

I put 5 of the best EV suits I have collected on my extra BOFFs. They don't take up any inventory space that way and they are always handy to switch to if/when I run a mission that needs them. My toons that aren't high enough to have 5 extra BOFFs I keep maybe 1 good one for my Captain and just use the free ones the missions give out for my away team.

That might not be good enough for Elite play, but for normal/advanced the free suits have been quite adequate.
    LTS and loving it.

My dream is that one day the Tholian suits from the reputation set get a makeover. They are pretty meh and not worth getting when they look almost identical to all the other ones.

You WILL need a full set of 5 for one of the temporal missions...

It simply won't let you progress before you've equipped all your BO's with suits...
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.
