Just wondering, because it seems like the mod team, in general, has drifted away from both STO and the community over the bast months (and for at least one, more than a year). STO burnout in itself is not a problem -- I think most of us have been there (and those who haven't probably have more than a few prescriptions), but when stewards of the playerbase are no longer actively part of the playerbase -- even if just for, say, four or five months -- then I think the modship should transition to those who are still active and enthused.
Not a critique of the mods themselves, mind you. I think they're good people, just not as active in the community as I believe mods, community managers, etc, should be.
Personally, I think regularly rotating mods is a great idea, but I'm not going to push it.

Oh and @Nabreeki ... there's typos in the OP
Ok, and there is an Edit button to fix them. So why a separate post to say you know you made mistakes?
Indeed.
Typos evvrywhèr.
There are typos.
I would gladly fill this burdensome postion if so chosen.

Would I like to see an active helping hand? Yeah.
These forums cannot be kept in order 24/7 by one or two people, at least in my humble opinion. Especially as volunteers, that's impossible. Passing this higher up the chain either way, as something to consider.

I would gladly be a volunteer if a position was available
It's my experience during my time here that different mods have differing opinions and varying prominence. Trendy, quite possibly being one of the best and funniest ever! There are times I do wish that mods move a little quicker, but hey, I understand they can't be here 24/7.
The man definitely has his fingers on the pulse of the community, I can support this.
And strictly speaking for myself, I'd welcome having more people taking care of the forum issues. More people = faster response and also, mind you, less risk of burning out, as you don't handle it all, no matter what. The trick is also finding the right folks for the task too. That's all I can say on the topic, really.
