Kelvin admiral uniform

Hey. This is mostly for the devs if they even read this. The 50th anniversary event they have away a free Kelvin admiral uniform. I was not able to get it because I didn't have internet. So my question to the STO dev team is, could you guys please put it in c- store? For the folks that didn't get it, and for new STO players? Please. Thank you for your time.

Umm, not that I don't understand where you're coming from, but there's a point for the daily offerings. They're to get you to log in every day of the event. If you missed it then you missed it, that's the nature of events. I can't tell you how many things I've missed in various MMO events, but I've never felt like I deserved any of them for having missed it. I missed it and it's better to just move on and try to catch the next one.

I missed it too. I'm hopeful it'll come around again at some point. Maybe we have better luck the next time it does :)!

At the moment, the most likely place to reappearances of one-time event rewards is the phoenix box.

I wonder if everyone on these forums has autism (it's a spectrum) The un-warranted hostility and the assumption that the OP has "entitlement issues" is unacceptable. If I were your Captain I'd demote you...

This kid just wants to have his favorite Uniform, and you know something? - THATS OKAY. Also, he IS entitled to ask for it, that's what these forums are about partly.

Now to answer the OP; Don't worry kid, I notice that Cryptic usually comes around and gives us everything eventually. It may take some time but I'm sure you'll get your Admiral Uniform. :)

We did get a t6 Constitution after all, and there was a TON of negative hostile commenters against it for years, but alas we got what we had asked for :)

Well, since you said EVERYONE, I have to take exception to your autism assertion, which also lends itself to disparaging those who are autistic. Not cool. That aside, I didn't feel that @byozuma was being hostile, but neither did I believe that @whiskers3062 was coming across as entitled.

    Let me clarify @badmoonrizin,

If the unwarranted hostile/sarcastic commenters suffer from autism, then I would understand and make exception for their posting "style."

When a comic like me makes a joke like I did, its always rooted in criticism to make the audience examine themselves so they might choose to elevate their over all mental perspective...
The implication here being: if you don't suffer from any legitimate (respected) disability which impairs your ability to perceive & respond to social stimulus in a typical manner, then you have no excuse for unwarranted hostility and/or sarcasm.

I was not being desparraging toward autistic individuals, i was making a joke aimed at elevating self awareness.
I didnt accuse everyone of being autistic I simply said "I wonder sometimes if...-insert joke here-."

If you think that was bad you should hear Norm Macdonald's Hitler material!:P

    @captainperkins

We're cool. I don't believe that your comments were directed at or applied to me. Hence why I said that I took exception, using it in the sense that I objected, not took offense. Your statement was EVREYONE. Clearly, I had not gotten hostile or accused the OP of entitlement, so your EVERYONE couldn't be true. I was messing with you right back. ;)

As to the rest. It's not cool to pick on the autistic. That much cannot be disputed. I'm not saying that you did, but perception is everything it seems nowadays. And there are people who get butthurt way too quickly, especially in this forum. There actually was a post in this very thread, that came right before mine and somehow got removed, where an individual took great offense, because their son is autistic and supposedly reported you. I don't know if you saw it, and I don't know how it got removed, but that's the kind of person that I'm talking about.

I'm not saying what you said was bad, in fact it was quite mild comparatively speaking. I am saying, though, it's not EVERYONE. ;)

But we digress, and are off topic so...

I feel the Kelvin Admiral Uniform has gone the way of the Kobali Uniform and the Worf Sash before it. It was exclusive to its time and that time alone. The others have yet to be brought back, and so, I feel the Kelvin Admiral Uniform will not make a return either. But if it does, I hope that they bring back those other uniforms as well.

    Yeah- I didn't see that.

I apologize to whomever my post triggered. This fad of "political correctness" attempting to stifle comedy and humor was addressed in TOS Star Trek.

I think it is blatantly obvious I was not commenting on Autism, other than to draw the comparison that one of the aspects of autism is a lack of social queues. The joke being: people in these forums seem to often have reactions that don't seem proportionate to the original post. It's an age old problem on internet forums and a joke I often make.

To quote Captain Kirk in the above video: "We have learned to take delight in who and what we are." All the power to all people from all races, all margins and every end of the spectrum! <3

My post wasn't to belittle, either. It was to point out that timed exclusives are part and parcel of events such as these. Anniversaries are rarely celebrated year round. They're a special moment in time that only comes once a year, though multiples of years are given substantially more reverence. I then cited my experiences with MMO events and, in looking at STO's own ongoing event, it seems I missed a couple 'days' of it myself. C'est la vie. The originator, though, spoke differently from a standpoint that they should be able to obtain the missed reward even though they weren't able to receive it due to issues outside the confines of the game.

Of course, I could have read their post wrong, some clarification from the originator would be nice.

You were not commenting on autism, however imho your statement was no different than calling someone who makes a mistake the 'R' word. Having a different opinion than you is not in any way an indicator of autism. I won't say anymore cause I'm not sure if I accidentally deleted my previous post when I went to edit a grammar mistake, or if a mod removed it.

I apologize. I would have gotten the uniform if I had internet. I got the Kelvin uniforms from lobi store and I got the Kelvin heavy command cruiser(constitution T6) but I was so upset due to no internet that I missed the admiral uniform.
