(Partially Solved) My Tzenkethi Battlezone Issue List

edited March 2017 in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
As a seasoned veteran, lifer & devoted supporter of STO, this Battlezone is frustrating & dismaying. I'm disappointed at the fact that so many bugs were there in the first place. Plus the fact that very little of them have been fixed. It's almost been a month since the launch of this new season & it seems that there has been very little improvement of the Tzenkethi Battlezone since first patch after it's launch. It did seem to get better there for a while - albeit still unbalanced; But after last week's patch, it seems waaay unbalanced again. I expect to see some bugs after a new season... but not this many bugs & not for this long.

Please fix this, Cryptic. My fleet I am steward of is lacking activity because everyone in it finds this troubled Battlezone tedious & more annoying than Steve Urkel. I know this can be an awesome Battlezone to play. It just needs a good fixing.

Here's a list of issues (I have gathered) the Tzenkethi Battlezone is having according to the population at large:

All unsolved issues are in bold.
All partially solved issues are in italic.
All solved issues are struck through.
  1. NPC ships that guard the area don't respawn fast enough or at all after a player saves it.
  2. All points trigger too fast.
  3. Zones are too large to patrol effectively.
  4. King of The Hill points trigger even faster, often within a couple of minutes.
  5. Outer points often will not tell you if an allied held area is being invaded by the Tzenkethi.
  6. Points will still trigger right to Contested status even if a player(s) is defending it as an allied point under fire from Tzenkethi.
  7. Some players don't get the protomatter container rewards at the end of destroying the dreadnoughts.
  8. Often at times, completing the final stage will reward no protomatter containers to anyone.[/i]
  9. Southeast Barricades' Allied-but-Being-Invaded status image is missing, often misleading players into believing we still hold it.
  10. Dreadnought stage is sometimes bugged as the shield things you have to tractor out reset themselves in the Southeast Dreadnought Point as well as the dreadnought being active.

Please fix. I know this can be a sweet Battlezone.

Chiming in to note the issues from the battlezone I just did to confirm several of the above points.

    1. Points are still being "insta-taken". If someone is not there baby sitting it it will flip before someone can get there to prevent it.

    2. Points will sometimes flip back to Tzenkethi controlled even IF you have someone there babysitting it and they destroy the "invading" Tzenkethi making it impossible to know if you're going to be able to properly defend the area. This should not be possible going by the patch notes from today. This means the fix did NOT go into effect. Please re-check the coding or change it to copy the coding of the working space battlezones.

    3. Point are not remaining as "controlled" for 10 minutes. They will flip between 5 and 7 usually. This should not be possible going by the patch notes from today. This means the fix did NOT go into effect. Please re-check the coding or change it to copy the coding of the working space battlezones.

    4. I did not receive containers after the second battlezone win I participated in. I did receive 3 the first time, did the battlezone again and received 0 the second time. Very annoying after spending as long as I did for that second win. It's not worth it to file a ticket for 3 more but it's something that you do need to fix. Why does this battlezone have this issue and the others don't? Make them be awarded by a popup similar to the end phase of the Badlands battlezone if the fix is this hard.

I appreciate the back up. Hopefully, the Battlezone will continue to get better.

After Maintenance Thursday Feb. 16: I lost out on Elite Marks and extra Dilithium for completing the Tzenkethi Battle-zone 2x out of the 4x we completed it. Pics or it didn't happen:

Also I took a zone by myself (one of the blue spheres, not the rocks or the poles) and as soon as the timer ran out and I beat the last NPC instead of a friendly fleet warping in, a whole new fleet of enemy ships warped in retaking and resetting the zone. :/

Corroborated. I was waiting in Gon'cra to check the fix and it did exactly this. The Space Dorito is a nice little ship but I couldn't hold them off indefinitely.

Killed the Dreadnoughts three different times last night. No Marks, Dilithium, or Containers for those Boss Fights.

Still not getting Protomatter containers more often than not. It's literally been days since I've gotten one and I'll be damned if I can figure out the rhyme or reason. It's incredibly frustrating to fight in the battlezone for often more than two hours of tug-o-war with capping zones and not get the one reward I'm really there for. At this point I cannot see me bothering to try and get this one my multiple characters.

the bz rewards are so weak that the whole thing is pointless. its a complete waste of time to fly all the way to goncra.

Yup, never received the elite marks (protomatter containers) after defeating the dreadnoughts either.

Three or four times I took part in capturing a couple zones and saw that there was a chance at spawning the bosses. I stayed and kept recapturing/defending zones (good that it's possible now) till the dreadnought stage appeared. Then I usually took part in defeating two of the three dreadnoughts and never received the elite marks. Only a pitiful reward like 8 Lukari marks and 8 dil per dreadnought.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
    Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.

Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!

Same here, completed twice today and never received any of the completion rewards(dilithium, marks or containers).

That's why the Lukari Restorative Reputation rewards Gon'cra system transwarp after the first tier is complete.
