T6 Science-focused ships for Federation-allied Romulan on Xbox One?

Hi guys,

I've got a Lv52 Fed-allied Romulan character on Xbox One STO account. Looking for a T6 I was very confused as I couldn't see a proper Science-focused ship. Any recommendations out there?

Thanks,
LX (@LordOfPit in-game)

PC was like that too for the first 2 years after T6 was introduced. At the end of last year one single-ship cross-faction science bundle was introduced and soon (Thursday?) we'll get a 9-ship cross-faction mega-bundle. These ships will reach consoles eventually.

Until then, the Paradox lock box ship is nice even though it is not really Romulan. The 31st Century cross-faction temporal ships should be added to the C-Store next week for Agents of Yesterday but they are not Romulan looking either.

You could settle for a "science emphasis" cruiser, pilot ship, etc. but those won't have as much SCIENCE! power and will not include sensor scan or a secondary deflector.

Yeah, unfortunately the RR and KDF factions will likely not get a T6 science vessel for some time on the consoles. The Delta Rising Expansion was released back in October 2014. It was not until the release of Agents of Yesterday in July 2016 that the RR and KDF factions were able to purchase a T6 Science vessel from the C-Store; the crossfaction 31st Century Temporal science vessel Eternal. That was 21 months after the introduction of T6 ships.

You will not have to wait 21 months (actually 17 more months) for a T6 science vessel for your Romulan captain to command. When the AoY expansion for consoles is released the 31st Century Temporal Starships should be available; which should be released next week, February 14th. As mentioned by davefenestrator above.

However, if you specifically want a T6 Romulan faction science vessel, then you might have to wait a while. On the PC Cryptic released the T6 Laeosa Research Warbird back in October it think. It will likely be while before that ship is released on the console though. But at least the T6 Eternal should be available next week.

If Cryptic follows through on the main story for the consoles, then for the consoles' 1st Anniversary Event you should be able to grind for the T6 Ho'kuun (Doritos; either Nacho Cheese or Cool Ranch) Science Vessel.

Can I take this to mean that my Federation aligned Romulan should be able to fly a Scryer Intel ship then?

    T1-T4 ships only, so no.

No! Only lower-tier T1-T4 ships from fed or KDF can be flown by Romulans.

T6 Romulan science ships do exist now but like everyone else said you will have to wait until they migrate to console. In the meantime the Eternal is one of the most powerful science ships in the game.

Just purchased the Temporal Agent Bundle and the Eternal Ship is indeed awesome! Thanks

Eternal is one of the best Science Vessels in the game, period. Temporal Rep abilities and specialization merges very well with Science Builds. Not only that it's a cross-faction C-Store release, so if you ever decide to try it with different KDF, Fed, Rom toons, the Eternal will be there for them. A top-of-the-line Science Vessel with wide access is one of the best values in the game. Not to mention the Chronos Dread in that pack... She looks funky but her performance is great.

Also the CSR comment about Roms accessing allied ships, unless Console does it different from PC version he's wrong and right. Roms access on PC version allied ships from Tier 1-4 but not the endgame 5-6 ones.
