Divide et Impera's lack of agency (for no reason) was probably one reason it irritated people; there were no alternate paths or even ability to voice reservations, or any follow-up to make amends. I don't think the idea behind it was bad, just the execution.
Well, it was supposed to be part one of 2 or 3... But the followup didn't get made due to the extra rushed dev schedule pre-launch.
I've heard that before, and as much as the game expanded and how long before the revamp of the Romulan Mystery arc, why it wasn't followed up on.

I really enjoyed the whole Romulan story arc (i.e. the Romulan-specific missions), from Virinat to the final showdown with Hakeev. It was satisfying to finally take him out. Just wish I could've ended Sela, because she was getting so annoying. Can't have everything, I guess. lol
Ya know id like to see "what lies beneath" revamped and have tony todd do mr bonnie kins VA and maybe channel some of the candyman into it, that would make it one wickedly good mission.
All-time favorite Starfleet episodes: "The City on the Edge of Never" and "Past Imperfect" because we get to once again interact with the Guardian of Forever. Plus, huge fan of Harlan Ellison! My favorite cross-faction mission was probably "Ragnarok" due to not only the return of both Chekov and Scotty, but this is the fight for the entire space-time continuum!
I just did 'What Lies Beneath' over the Weekend for the first time since the lighting revamp. They also got rid of that stupid flashlight and now have lights affixed to the Character and each of the Away Team. Much, much better now. I could finally see where I was going all the way through.

Count me in as someone who severely dislikes the ending to the Idiot...um...Iconian War.
As far as favorite episode? For creepy factor alone Mind Games. I didn't appreciate having a control chip shoved in my Rommie's head.
Hehe, yeah that mission was fun in ways you just don't get in other missions. Like Thalaroning eppohs, and intentionally making that Borg guy kill the Tal-Shiar dolts. Actually at least part of that was a holo-sim, so I suspect no one actually died.

Lack of pew pew? The mission that has two separate trips to the holodeck because real life wasn't giving our captains enough combat?

Yeah the end was a let down as was the entire arc, not even iconian red alerts and the whole dues ex machina ending was lame.
