For what it's worth, I went ahead and grabbed one when it hit the Infinity box. I'm having a freaking blast with it. Two piece kelvin console set, two piece quantum phase, two piece counter command, tac officer in the uni seat.
M6 computer, APA, APO, broadside emitters, and BFAW 3 absolutely destroys EVERYTHING. I haven't had this much fun with a new ship for a while.
    Thanks for all the advice!

You might want to get the other two consoles off the exchange, should cost you about 1.5 mil each. It's one of the only complete sets worth using, at least on that ship. The 3 piece bonus grants a huge armor/resistance bonus as well as a scaling increase in hull healing the lower your hull gets. The 4 piece bonus cuts the set's console cooldowns in half, which is pretty excellent as they're all extremely useful clickies for the sort of role this ship should play.

I have three of the four consoles on another ship. Yeah, they are a bit cheesy but this doesn't make them any less effective or fun. Haven't tried them on my KT Connie yet. Will probably do so this weekend.

LOVE the photon charges console and the mining laser, which I feel is what a Phaser Lance outta be like

I have a KT Connie as my main ship and I've been very satisfied with it. Very tanky with my 4-piece Iconian space set on it and some lobi and fleet gear. Versatile and flexible boff & console slots too. I highly recommend it.

I was going to wait until the prices got into the upper 100s after the Kelvin Lockbox moved into the Infinity. But it seems that the lower to mid 300s is as far as the Ferengi will let it drop. I saw one at 315 and my Temporal Recruit picked it up. Just love the ship. I am playing it with the full four piece Kelvin Console Set. Kelvin Phaser Emitters and Photon Torpedoes and the Quantum Phase Set. Fun.

What's not fun is the way the Tzen'kethi Battlezone plays out.

I have the same setup. With a SciGuy as Captain. Almost too much fun, ain't it?
