Omega game- no particles

Is the omega particle not on certain maps? (Andoria- no particles)

    I just finish Andoria with 2 of my toons. The area is large so it might be hard to find the particles but scans usually show you the way if you are within the circled area.
    The particle might spawn on the top of a mountain where it is hard to access. You can try to wait a bit to change location or change instances.
