    I say 'why?', because the first ship type is omitted from that display you have.

    What's with all the 'UFOs', when their first ship didn't look anything like what they are using now. After all, the last episode was the maiden voyage. Now we get another maiden voyage? I know you do it for any new ship, but two in a row feels... Icky. These look like a completely different style altogether from the original Lukari ship we first encountered. These other? Area 51 manufacture. Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of Gray clones stepping out of one. Good rule of thumb: when designing a spaceship, always stay the hell away from the classic stereotypes as there is too much baggage being hauled around in them...

    Otherwise? Yeah! Add as many cool ships to the store as possible! Sucks that all the Escorts with 5 front guns only have 2 in the back. Got any with guns where they are supposed to be on a ship? Like all over?!

    would prefer individual ships personally, the cost of a bundle that size guarantees I'll never get it :)

    but before that... how about some t6 gorn, ferasan, androian, caitian, and orion ships?

    why?
    Except for the first ship, the rest aren't Lukari ships. They are just generic alien ships that can be used for any new alien race that Cryptic introduces in the future. They could be the next Summer Event ship, a future Lockbox ship, a Winter Event ship assuming Cryptic finally decides to get away from Breen ships, or the 8th year anniversary ship.

    That was explained in one of those story blogs. Their ship from "Echoes of Light” was an old gorn ship they gifted to the lukari to use until the new one is ready.
    Would have been nice to mention this ANYWHERE in-game but that's always been the case with these stories.

    Thanks for the heads up, @seriousdave! It did have me confused. The styles are too different. You don't usually see that wide of a variation. :)

    2% of the people read the stories, while the other 98% go "huh?" because they don't have half the info.

    I'd rather have ships to my own faction. Otherwise why bother having a Star Trek game if you can't be Klingon, Fed, or Romulan in an appropriate ship?

    Ya know, I'd rather see a bunch of Vulcan ships, Andorian, Tellerite, more T6 Romulan, Gorn, Klingon etc etc etc. You know. All the races we can currently play and yet have pretty much no ships or are sub par to some extent. I have 1 AoY Tellerite toon and 1 AoY Andorian toon. I would LOVE to be able to flying some nice race specific ships for them instead of things like the Breen/Vorgon freebies.

    Bingo! Leathen ships, Orion Ships, etc down the line of races to pick from in existing factions and we get stuck with a potato chip ship for the event.

    Yep, Lethean, Nausican... I do like the event ships we get though. I love my Nandi, even the Vogon one is pretty fun to fly. Some people laugh at some of the ships I fly though as I don't go for big performance ones. I was pretty excited when I got the Marauder Flight-Deck Cruiser for free during one of the giveaways. So of course one of my Orions fly that. We really need more of those sorts of ships for the toons we can actually play.

    While I'm +1 for more stuff.

    Couldn't we have other methods for obtaining these ships? (If they ever do decide to make a few) Maybe crafting or ...

    Where's my statue?! Build my statue then they can build us more ships!

    Nope. It's already weird enough that they were just barely warp-capable when we discovered them, and now they suddenly have a top-of-the-line T6 science ship that's competitive with what the major powers have. Alliance help or not.

    I'd rather see more ships for the established species, like many other people have said already. The Gorn, Nausicaans and Orions need more ships.

    Yup, I could easily see several ship types from those designs!
