Would you like to have a Sovereign Class Bridge-package, including a featured episode? (survey)

Greetings Captains,
Since we were given an upgrade for the ship model and a interior package for the Intrepid class in season 10, and the Sovereign ship model has now visually been upgraded in the course of the general shipmodel-overhaul to T6, It would now be time to revamp the interiors to make it (in my opinion) perfect. Just like the Intrepit. Inside and outside the ship it should be. (Especially since most of the sovy bridges are apparently bugged. (Missing textures and meshes, as wrong lighting etc. for example).
It would be a shame to leave such an iconic ship in the state it is currently in.

What is your opinion? Would you like to see such a package and "Featured Episode"?
(I for my part, definitely) :-)

I hope you can read and understand what I write here, I use a translation software, because English is not my native language.

I'm hoping we see this and a revamp of the 1701 D bridge for the 30th anniversary.

I like to see them add a medium and large interior and more bridge styles and trophy places for romulan ships. Before they add anything else for Fed.

I'd like them to rework the old interiors at some stage as well, too large and nowhere near the quality of the more recent stuff. Sadly, it's probably not even on the radar since they've said before that they don't sell enough of them to justify the time and expense it takes to make the packs.

Even if it's "just" a new default interior for Fed and KDF and adding more interactivity to the Romulan interior it'd be a welcome improvement, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I don't care since I visit the bridge only like twice a year to invite people over for trades. Sovvy class for gameplay? Hell no.

I'd rather they fix the gorram seating on my wickedly expensive Elachi S'aleth first!

Not if I have to pay for it, no.

I think the NX and 1701-D will happen before the 1701-E.

And, given the use case for bridges/interiors in the game, who knows when we'll see those. The new NX-refit doesn't have a unique interior, and that was a good opportunity to make that one...

I think I've only ever gone on the bridge of my ship when a mission makes me and that's it. If anything, maybe they should just remove bridges from the game entirely because as it is they are pretty much completely pointless.

I sometimes use my bridge to access my account bank from sector space. I like that better than summoning a freighter or switching to a Suliban ship. *shrug*

all bridge seating seems TRIBBLE (the origin may actually be the exception) but many officers in your crew either dont appear on your bridge or dont sit in the seats and either standing the chair or phase through it.

For my part, I use the interiors of the ships (actually only two because the others are so embarrassing: Belfast and Voyager) regularly to talk there manually with the duty officers. It is for me part of the Star Trek experience and in the series one spends most of the time inside the ships. Also with foundry missions, which I have done and even with official missions, the interior is very negative. It is hard to believe that such a "quality standard" has been granted a license.

The interiors have a function that may not be perceived by everyone, but at least the missions are something we would all benefit from.
I'm sure you'd rather be doing the missions in an authentic environment like the Voyager set than in one of these sports halls, which have to do with Star Trek as much as fish with the stratosphere...

I do not want to sound too harsh, the game is very good in my eyes and gets better in many areas, but it's one of the core elements of Star Trek.

The Sovereign, Picard's last ship, just did not deserve this. If Janeway gets her ship honored, why not Picard. Sure the bridge for the Galaxy is not great, but it is in itself, not at all bad, but the one for the Sovereign is just a bad joke.

I'd rather we got the NEM refit parts made for the model first, the slopped neck and the set back pylons.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

Yeah, most of your time is spent on a Starship in the series, but most of that time is spent sleeping and waiting for something to happen too. They don't show that stuff on the screen though because it is boring. Same thing with the game, most of your time is spent DOING stuff and you can't actually DO anything from inside your ship, so they don't spend much time on it.

As far as a function not perceived by everyone....care to elaborate or just leave us in the dark?

It may be one of the core elements of the shows and movies, I mean of course it is, would be pretty boring sitting there staring at the outside of the ship all the time. But what works on the screen doesn't always work in games and vice-versa. If the vast majority of the game took place inside the ship, that would be a damn boring game.

With my statement: "The interiors have a function that may not be perceived by everyone" I wanted to actually say that there are missions which one does not get when in the normal view simply opens the Duty-Officer window and select missions from there. At least I have never seen the (for example) Missions of the counselor there.

In general, I'm very fond of doing all the things you do, when you're not interacting with the game world, when I'm on the bridge or in the rest of the ship. (All that stuff with clicking trough Windows, item sorting and Recycling or other Maintenance work ect.)

I'm not the only one who uses the interiors like this ... or am i o.O

I agree, the sovvy and galaxy class both deserve screen accurate revamps. I think they can wait for a rainy day however.

The NX bridge and movie era late 23rd century bridges need to be created for a shatner/bakula cameo possibly wrapping up the daniels story line. We havent seen the last of Daniels!

I'd like to see them add a real bridge to the 30th century temporal ships. What we have as a "bridge" now is actually the transporter room of the time ship. That's also why it is so ridiculously tiny and clearly designed to be placed on the aft section of the ship rather than the center of the ship and so looks like a narrow corridor instead of being a circle like every actual bridge. One of the timeships is huge, but what we have to use as a bridge is smaller than the cheap NYC studio apartment I had when I first graduated from college.

Cryptic shouldn't have removed ship interiors. What they should have done is gone back and completely revamped them so that they each operated on a standard placement or had standard designations such that Cryptic could make new episodes which took place entirely within the ship interiors.

If you can enter any small corner of the ship and then finally the turbochargers no longer give a charge image and the holodecks would be useful, I would find an interior nice.

I'd rather be able to use the Odyssey bridge myself, love that one, it's a shame it's not available on any other ships

I have both the new T6 Sovereigns and have to admit its incredibly far down the list of things I'd like to see the environment artists working on. If for some reason there's a mission in an upcoming episode where we beam over to talk to somebody who flies one of the newer Sovereign variants (similar to the Mindscape episode) or there's at least a logical cut scene taking place on one then sure, push it up the stack. But otherwise... meh?

here is a Video of a quite old game which Shows perfectly how te sovy interiors should look like:
    https://youtube.com/watch?v=Di5iBfI7pJE
please skip to 03:29 because you see only some old exterior footage of the Enterprise-D and -E.
At 21:30 you can see the actual Bridge itself. The rest is footage of various interiors onboard the ship.

Why? You know...people actually use it for more than gameplay...people RP in the game....you know...because it's a MMORPG.

we need more trophy types as well. every lockbox ship should come with a trophy. it should be Animal Crossing for starships.
