Fix Risa Commodities prices

The best place to buy Entertainment Provisions in the galaxy is: The New Romulus Embassy vending machine. WHAT?!? You have got to be kidding me. Sure Hlai is tasty, but it's cardboard compared to a good Risian Boar Roast. You are definitily getting more for your money on Risa than the Embassy vending machine, yet some idiot bureaucrat has the price for Entertainment Provisions listed as 800 on Risa and 600 on New Romulus. This is obviously some sort of wierd clerical error and I would like to see it fixed.

    Well when you've lost your homeworld and depressed and all about it, I'm sure entertainment stuff is something Romulans would be delving into just about more than anyone else : P, even the Risians!

    While I commend Cryptic trying to make something interesting... vendor buy/sell prices are not the place to do it unless you plan to make a viable economy in-game. I hate lugging trash back to the 'good' vendors to get 50% value. They need to just make all vendors buy junk for the same 50%. Well, except the few Ferengi vendors out there. If you sell to them you deserve to get ripped off! ;)

    Actually, prices should be higher on Risa. It's a tourist trap.

    Agreed there. I can buy a frozen soda for $1.50 at the gas station near my work, while it's $6 at Six Flags.

    You must not have been paying attention to the part that Risa is run by the Ferengi.

    I agree Risa is a tourist trap, but the game doesn't allow for quality diffrences in commodities. I still say you are getting a better value for your EC on Risa. I also deeply appreciate the years of training in programing that are needed to fix this difficult problem. We'll no doubt need a team of PHD programing engineers to change the "800" to "550" without crashing the galaxy.

    I think commodities should be higher than they already ARE on Risa.......it's a haven for the lazy. Good (Ferengi-style) game economics makes every single commodity/item of interest that is for sale, expensive EVERYWHERE but at one single location. That one single location only has that ONE item at a cut price. Other locations sell one item at a cut price. Thus the bored player that has the time can score on purchase price by flying all over the galaxy and then selling them on the exchange for a profit (no idea why SO MANY items are on the exchange for more than they can be bought from a vendor for) and lazy players (who are often space rich anyway) can just buy everything they need from one spot and not care. The system as is works. I think they should be gouging you MORE for relaxing on a beach when there is so much PewPewPew to be doing! (it's a game......it's ONLY a game....)
