Couldn't join second Fast and Flurrious race

This is my RomBorg character. He got to join the first race just fine and took second. Then went to join the second race and I clicked Join Race, he glowed, then Join Race popped back up. Click, click, click till the race started. Same thing.

Last year on my Rom I could join both races no problems. On my AoY, no problems. Haven't tried anyone else yet.
Now a LTS and loving it.
Just because you spend money on this game, it does not entitle you to be a jerk if things don't go your way.
I have come to the conclusion that I have a memory like Etch-A-Sketch. I shake my head and forget everything. :D

    Never managed to do two races in a row last year or this year so I assumed it was by design.
    Still waiting to be able to use forum titles

    No, All of mine were able to do both races. There's some kind of bug or something. Just about to try it on my Klingon girl.
    Now a LTS and loving it.

    Okay, Shyann was able to run both races. So this is a bug so far that's only affecting my BorgRom. I'll give it a try on Stephvin, my first Rom, and who was able to run both races last year.
    Now a LTS and loving it.

    Ok, Trogg, another new av who is a Tellarite ran the first race and got second. It appeared that he joined the second race, but when it came time to start I didn't hear the dings that signal the gate about to drop. So I ran anyway and at the end, and he was running in second, there were no flags. Something odd going on here.
    Now a LTS and loving it.

    Okay, so far, it seems to only be affecting my 'newest' avatars, except for my AoY. He's a Human male. The ones that are affected are my RomBorg, Vince and my two Tellarites, Amee and Trogg.

    Oh, and sorry for the running posts, I just wanted to see what was going on and report it as it happened.

    Well, I hope devs will address this.

    So far, anytime I take an 'older' av through both races they are able to do them both. The only 'new' one, my AoY human, was able to do both races. This is very puzzling to me.

    Having the same problem. Could always join more than one race in previous years, but can't with my newest character (who needs the rep points most). the "join the race" button appears but when pressed you get the "Q flash" but the join the race button stays there. When the race starts I haven't picked up the mission.
