Xbox-Idea- endgame that gives the player a reason to stay on longer then 5 min.

The rep factions are kinda plain as you just log on push a couple buttons then log back off. How about some endgame that requires you to actually play the game. Really the only teamwork needed is for building fleets.

You realize you have to actually...you know...play the game to get those marks to then press the buttons to up the rep right? You can't just magically advance a rep by having 0 marks.

Welcome to endgame STO. In the end all you can do is chase the almighty dragon of DPS. (Which is why I have a ship named Dragon Chaser btw.)

Once you guys get the rest of the stuff DOFFs, Admiralty, Fleet holdings, and R&D. Thats when the real endgame button pushing begins.

We do have that, and thats sad to hear as was hoping for endgame that would have me play instead of micromanaging everything. Because after I have my gear and a few thousand marks it just takes 5 minutes to play each day.

I know the feeling, I'll log in and spend a half hour to forty five minutes just dealing with the Doff,s etc, maybe run a single mission or two then log out. so forty five minutes micromanaging then 10 to 20 on missions. I guess thats why I love the winter and summer events, I can ignore the rest and just have some fun.

Another game tried this and it didn't work out so well. Overdone grind is never welcome to most people.

You are only REQUIRED to play 5 minutes each day. Most people would see this as a blessing. the game isn't a job, you're free to have fun.

Another game I used to love to play fell into the trap of trying to "encourage" people to play the game a lot, the game became literally a job, and I no longer enjoy that game nearly as much anymore.

I dont really share the belief of playing for less then an hour a blessing lol. Im just asking if we could ever get some endgame activity, it doesn't have to be a grind for marks or gear. Just something other then grinding for marks. Put in random events or some rare enemy ship's that pop in every now and again that drop rare loot...just something lol

you're always free to play more than an hour. you'll get a ton more marks that way and be able to get more stuff faster.
